How do you get to westminister arcade from Troc? I'll defo start in the troc, cos I'd get lost going anywhere else!

It's a shame VF players are a dying breed nowaday's. BTW What character's are used in T5 in Troc? I'm assuming the skanks! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif???? LOL.

hahaha dunno your asking the wrong guy, I aint had the time to get into the game but from what I see a good mix of characters. It might be better starting off in namco cause troc only get's ok in the evening from around 6.
I'm sure Mike can show you the way to namco, I can't remember /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm coming down on friday (with a mate) will be in Trocadero at 3ish (all being well, I have to allow for train's being late). Staying at Mike's til Monday.

Decided to allow bringing my RAP, actually, is there anywhere/anybody selling a Namco stick? I'd pay up to 50 quid?

Oh, before I forget, was it Optimus that said they could get me PS2 American Snatcher/Policenauts? I don't main paying 10 quid for each? Cheers if you could get them, that'd be mint.

Well there is no us copy of policenauts only released in japan, so you have to sit through with translations if you wanna play I havn't had the patience to do it yet /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif (That or learn japanese../versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif), only us copy of snatcher was on mega/sega cd, so if you got access to emulation I could sort you out. Otherwise your looking at 2 jap ps1 text heavy games (an inferior version of snatcher released on ps1 too). Let me know /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Maybe kojima will rerelease them seeing as the original metal gear's are going to be and this is the age of rehashed make money on the past era.

I'll still have the Japanese verisions if I can. I still have fond memories of completing the Japanese version of MGS1, is policenauts as good as Snatcher?

BTW What VF players (if any /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) will be at Trocadero on Friday? And which side works the best? LOL. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ok then I'll do you ps1 snatcher and policenauts, I havn't play through policenauts but by all accounts it is supposed to be as good if not better than snatcher. Tbh the best version of snatcher is the sega cd worth playing if your a kojima fan.
There won't be much vf players there sorry to say, seems Gwai's coming though!
Hope they fixed the 2 player stick, if not I'll still play you a few I'll give the visitor the good stick as courtesy /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Well if you wanna buy a stick off Jericho you'd need to pass someone the cash, as he dosn't live near central, if i manage to speak to him this week I'll ask him ,unless he reads this himself, otherwise your best bet is to pass someone the cash who'll get the stick for you. (e.g, Mike /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

Cool, I have to submit some uni work on Friday in the afternoon since I'm a lazy sod and don't like waking up early. I'll be in the Troc around 3pm too, so maybe we can have a few games at T5.

I play Tekken too but I'm no where near the likes of the Pro's that usual go there friday night, lol but I do put up a challenge. Anyway, hope to seeya there around 3ish. If you see a chinese guy on the machine with a custom character with R-Silver on it, thats me.

The big guns in T5 are the Williams Family this time. Steve, Anna and another I forgot. The mishimas are close behind still tho.

Anyway, hope to seeya there.

Cool.

I kinda suck at Tekken 5 TBH (my highest rank is 4th Dan) but I should have assumed the top tier's were rinsed LOL. I SHOULD be there at 3, but it's sod's law that the train's will be late on Friday. BTW I'm assuming I get the Underground to Leicester sqaure, could someone give directions. I've got a feeling I'm gonna get lost!

BTW I have really strange ring names on my card's, my paul's is 'I wish I was Akira', but all of my cards have different names on, but I weigh 25 stone, so I'm not hard to confuse with someone else LOL.

(Trocadero is opposite picadilly circus fountain, get there you can't miss it.)

haha thats the one thats closer. Yea, get to picadilly, look for the fountain and the famous neon signs above the burger king, cross the road and u can't miss the Troc.

From Leicester Sq. Station take the exit to the right, walk up the stairs, turn right out the station, then right again, u should see urself in the main part of the Sq. Burger King on the left, small park in the middle with warner village cinema on the right. Just carry on walking straight, cross the road, and u should bump into the Troc on ur right.

Hey Michael, I'm currently looking for a Namco or SC2 Hori as a back up stick (don't really wanna shell out for a RAP just yet).

I don't have much money atm but hope to get some together over the summer. Is it possible for you to get me a stick and send it up to Liverpool? Must stress I don't want it this week or anything like that, probably within the next month or so.

Olly, cheers for the discs, even though there in Jap, still cool. The Policenauts one doesn't work, although I think it's due to my old and dusty PS2 LOL.

Nice to play you guys as well, thanks for letting me use the decent stick. Seemed to do well with Jacky, even though I'd been practising with Kage the most LOL.

Still, top weekend, hopefully I will be able to make it down again soon.

Damn, went to play EVO for the first time in like a year at Troc, put a pound in and the goddamn joystick on player 2 was broken. How long has it been like that? Whats happening with the uk vf scene? What happened to the regulars? By the way, i play with a dodgy kage, and on tekken with a well dodgy lei.

haha nice to hear from ya again buttonmasher. The sticks on evo hasn't always been broken...just recently, lol.

As for the UK VF Scene, it's still alive but only barely hanging by the string. It would still be alive if the Troc imported Final Tune but they ain't having it...don't blame them really, we pestered them for every version update so far and games are expensive, lol.

For now, I think most of the VF crew have moved on to T5. Great game that, can't wait to get it on the PS2 and practice like mad so I can compete with the pro's.

Was watching slimadey and his friends play when they came to london last Friday. I didn't feel like challenging them all of a sudden, lol. Then waited a while for the other pro's to come like Ryan heart etc and they're nutz
