Good games everyone, great matches too specially to the journey to the finals, intense!

As I expected also, I didn't do very well (Damn tekken) and came last, lol. Oh well, only went there for some fun. Nice win by GeeHo. BK was unlucky but he made great come back on the way to the finals.

I hope to make an appearance and try my luck at T5 next week.

 

Today's match was really well played.. Everyone was fantastic with their game play and I really enjoyed myself today. I express my thanks to all the great players for showing off their VF skills, seems like I have alot to improve upon. Guess I will train harder for the next meet guys. Was damn good fun, got some good matches in.Was glad I got through my group but lost the plot against Optimus, dunno what happened.Well done, you played strong.I feel a grudge match next time ;-) ! Seriously, it's great to see that there is still some competition out there, I only wish I had the opportunity to play people of a serious level like you guys do. You should take more advantage of the scene you have, and get some games in.

I'll be looking to come down again either next time, or the time after, if that's still ok.

Haha Dan's there with his trusty SNK stick, I've no idea how he can play so well on such a stiff stick.

Did many matches get recorded? And if so, will any be hosted and viewable anytime soon?

Yeah, I had a feel of Dan's stick (enough with the sexual innuendos), and I thought it was really stiff too. It seems like it would really hurt the wrist of the user after a while, and I much prefer my RAP.

You should come down next time, you would really enjoy the atmosphere, and you can take a shot at beating G-Ho's 'annoying as hell, what the fuck is she doing now?' Pai.

Yeah, I simply HAVE to get myself down there sometime to play people on their own turf.

I really want to have a VF meet up here before chrimbo now but I'll only go ahead and do it if I can round up the VF players who lurk in the shadows around manc.

 

Pai is unpredicatable and has BK told me at the meet, she breaks the game. Even more so than Kage but this could turn into an argument so I'll say no more.

Nice games, the tournament itself was captured on video or whatever that dinky lil recording thing Hatim had set up, lol. The mini leagues weren't captured although I think Jeffhan captured some pre-tourny matches and some warm up matches between certain players. Videos should be up on Vosors handvseye website soon.

 

yeah that stick is pretty stiff but thats what Im used to, I was cacking myself at the beginning of the day cos the joystick wasnt working properly.I had a go on a couple of the other guy's sticks and I couldnt use them at all. I think I may get a vf evo stick and learn that cos Im pretty good at quick stepping but it does wear the old wrist out.Cheers for the matches Jeffahn, they were soo close, that last one we had could have gone either way.Got a very strong Wolf there.
