UK VFDC Video Thread

All the matches I played used the profile with my name, so if you see Beligerent that's me. ZeroEx played a couple of matches using my profile too, so if you see an Akira named Beligerent doing p+kp+k... you know that's Zero and not me haha.

I was having serious trouble on that setup cause of the EX2's, I couldn't do anything involving diagonal inputs. Which meant I couldn't crouch dash and my buffered dblplms were coming out as 66p haha.

I know RORY used Vanessa on that setup a few times, remember playing him. He maybe used Lion on that setup too.

 

They're uploaded in time sequence, so if you played sometime around 3pm or 5pm yours will not have been uploaded yet. Also I did save player data for everyone except Rupert H (one of the Jeffry players) and zer0kage (who uses Aoi).

Everyone who played under their main character will have their names displayed.

In the videos up now Rory was playing Lion and Vanessa on the 2P side. I don't know who was playing Jeff in the early matches, or who was using El Blaze.

 

It's gonna take me a while to watch all these. You looked fine in the few I saw feck. Great vids zeroex.

 

I'm the NONAME Aoi way later in the vids. There are still vids of me beforehand such as in part17 against Seidon. I first debuted in Pt15 against Zero EX's Akira.

I'm still wondering what is the real best way to deal with Wolf's dash mixups? Guess? It seems to be very tight since it has a catch throw but a mid-knee to stop strikes. I reckon this is a situation where fuzzy guard is a powerful defensive tool?

I struggle with that too especially when people use it when i'm in wakeup, I've been trying to smack him out of it not sure if that's the best idea though.

Don't think fuzzy would work too well against these mixups cause the high clothesline is unblockable methinks.

Part 21 has the part I was talking about were you use my profile, tis weird cause were both playing the El Blaze and it's kinda hard to tell the difference even though we use Akira quite differently haha.

Anyone got any clue who the Jeff player was in Part 2? That's definitely me playing can tell by the n00bness but I don't remember playing any Jeff's?!

 

Lol oh no I might have mislabelled them in the time index I made.

Parts 25 and 26 are the same lol. It's alright theres so many vids it's really possible to lose track of them.

 

Oh yeah lol, I didn't remember to switch profiles that time.

 

ZeroEx and myself are the only ones using Brad from what I've seen unless McMystery's on there as well. I think BK was the only person using El Blaze and Kneeninja was the only Jacky.

knee can only garantee to stop strikes after specific knockdowns. any other time, he can be interupted, unles his knee was yomi'd seconds before.

(but thats a different story)

 

I played Brad on my data late on in the night but I only had a few games.

 

I remember ZeroEx using El Blaze and I know Seidon uses Jacky a bit aswel and im pretty sure that the jacky player in part 12 was him.

Im sure McMystery is on there aswel but I cant tell which Brad is his

 

The early Brads are me and Shoju, Shoju using costume B. I only used El Blaze on the big screen (not live captured), didn't save those replays cause I was messing around. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

McMystery played near the end with his name tag. His videos will appear in part 35 and upwards.

 

i'm pretty sure Seidon used Blaze a few times on the smaller setup

 

Okay, I played on the smaller setup all day except when we done the team tournament.

I used a bunch of characters.

I'm gonna watch through all parts and I'll tell you when I'm playing.

I'm not in part 1. I don't know who the other Wolf was. Notice that Matt didn't have to change his buttons and the controller didn't switch.

Fuzzy Guard is not a tech used in neutral situations:

It is something you do when in med-large disadvantage to simultaneously deal with the mid/throw threat.

If you're in a neutral situation, no need to crouch dash/bob and press G, you could mash jab to beat both options lol
