Heard it through the grapevine that Randomhajile (probably the only person who turned up with any sort of vf experience) qualified for the finals on Sunday, beating paddaman from DOA scene 20-4 I think.
Also the organisers supposedly didn't have a copy of the game so they had to run to the local store to get one...

    No way.

They didn't actually have the game?

What's even funnier is that if any of the UK punters on my list (excluding a couple) actually turned up they would have probably won.

People would have gone but the issues were:
    1. No info given in advance, in order to book time off work/school.
    2. 3 days to run a torni? Big nono, cost of travel and accommodation, torni should be held on 1 day, especially with a low turn out and the time it would take to run it.

I think they supplied all the info about a week and half to two weeks before the actual event... Sorting out a 200 mile journey and 3 days at a hotel or whatever in that amount of time was impossible for me.

They should've done the tourney in London if they were looking to do this in 3 days.

It says on the official UK WCG site that Rayne is our representative. Good luck to him when the finals in Germany start.

    Rayne, well that's much better.

I know he's good so I don't feel so bad about not going.
