dont wanna get in the middle of this but ur first post does imply that you were available for saturdays......is it really that hard for u to make it dude??

anyway if not sats then what about sunday?? on mondays u can also get a chance since poochie (another VF player) comes down to stay with falchion every monday for a day. however its really hard for everyone else to make it because of other priorities. weekends are the best for everyone man so try and make it on a sunday if you can /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif. that way i can also free up time to come down.

anyways.. once the summer starts, (my skool ends at June 20th)
then I can do it on Sundays.. but until then, I can't..
It is impossible for me to not fo go hiking..
see, my mom(dad's not in Canada rite now)and her friends wanna go hiking and crap and all the hikin jackasses meet at this mountain, but my mom's not good at directions so I HAVE to be there to tell her which way to go and stuff.

Is there any long weekends coming up before the summer break starts?

in all honesty, small gathering is better for you guys because it'll gives you two more chances to play.
Most of our VF players are too lazy to play new ppl. So far, only DBS or Moby has ever have the patient to teach new players(from the way I see it).
*I'd usually let DBS teach new players and I go play CS online /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Until we actually see or play with you guys, I can't make a big gathering because some of vancouver VF players won't be interested.

That is the fact.

VF is a deep game.
if you want to learn, try to set up a gathering with me + DBS or Moby. It'll definitely be better for EVERYONE.
The other players won't give you a chance to practice or to learn. They usually here just to play... have fun... and compete(some just wasting their free time). The won't let the TV to rest so that you can go to practice mode or something....

I don't mean to diss you guys. I don't know you two yet, and I'm hoping to find more hardcore players in town.
I just want everyone to be able to ENJOY the gathering.

try to make a small-gathering as soon as possible..
I'm planning a big Evo-Gathering around mid-June, and it won't include you two unless they agree to do so. reason: I'll say... too many ppl already,

SC2 also taking much interest lately. New players are gathering up, and that doesn't include old/expert players that already in Vancouver all this time. I'm planning to set up SC2 next week(if this one cancelled OR next week after that) because we'll have a visit of SC2/T4 players from Washington around June 14.

Try to be aggressive to set up a gathering.
if I got a call-in from two or more ppl wanting to have a gathering for a certain game, they definitely have more priority than an unconfirm-gathering.

I strongly suggest you two to set up a date asap. It's just my feeling, but I think most Vancouver VF players will be fired up during mid-June until fall.

6G's pretty good too. He needs to build some self esteem , that's all
I don't think we'll be needing some practice or anything like that, but we haven't played EVO so we don't know what it's like. Hope it's not too different from ver.c (VF4)
Anyways I'll talk to 6G and try to set up the time before the summer starts.. If not, we have plenty of time during the summer, don't we?

I actually tried to convince 6G to go there by himself until I can make it in the summer.
He refused.. He is actually more enthusiastic about VF4 , but like I said, he needs to build some self-esteem. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
