VF Day - Countdown to VF5FS Console Release

For some of you who have both consoles. Which online community will you favor? I guess if I had both consoles I'd be interested in the PSN scene out of curiosity. What are your thoughts?

I haven't had this feeling in a long time, you know that feeling you used to get as a kid when Christmas was just days away and you knew that you were getting an awesome gift?
I didn't even know I could still feel like this but here I am, feeling like a kid before Christmas who's about to get that badass toy he's looked at for years but he never could get.

 

Yah Dr., I too haven't had this feeling in a long time. The last time was purchasing an XBox 360 just to play VF5. I hadn't even purchased a console since N64! I remember Air Jacky coming over to my house to see how good the online experience (netcode) was because he thought there was no way it could provide a good VF experience. Like me, he was blown away, and instantly bought an XBox 360.

On a side note, the very first time I ever had this feeling - playing Super Mario Brothers for the first time when I was 8 years old. Being used to Atari, the feeling could be compared to going back in time and showing someone from the '80s the games we have now! =)

 

I had that feeling last night. It was like a ball of energy in my stomach when I thought that FS was coming out soon. I couldn't help but shake my arms and punch the air, it made me so happy.

 

I'm getting it on the 6th, dojo > customize > train. No time for license mode or other offline modes until evo is done.

 

I keep wondering if I will goto dojo first or right to online. Hmm... still haven't decided.

 

I was thinking about that too at first, it really just depends on how confident you think you are. For me, I like to maximize my rank ratio and there are some things I want to try in the dojo so I can be at my best when playing against other people.

 

.. You don't want to know/learn Shun's new moves right away?

Akira's new left to right (vice versa) hook punches are going to be my "go to" move when someone is still standing after a K.O. ^_^

 

I LOVE that you can practice on any stage, that's money. FS has a wholee bunch of cool stages.

I have been using Goh regularly for almost 3 years but now I'm going to switch my main character to El Blaze. So once I buy VF5FS for Xbox 360 I'm going straight to training mode to get a feel for the changes to El Blaze then I'll customize his look, then I'm headed straight to online!

I got a quick question: So with item dlc packs coming along with the game does that mean you can't unlock items in the game like you could in VF5?

 

@JRGoh once you buy them you don't need to unlock anything, you go straight to customization right after you download the DLC.

 

for me is better to have all items without unlock..with 900 items per characters is like u have days or months to customize all charachters with all combinations and stuffs.. cant wait..i have to wait until wednesday around 7pm!!
