VF in Belgium and The Netherlands

me and christiaan we're talking about having a real meetup again (after everyones school related activities are done). I'd like to see literally everyone attenting.

If we can get Krush, Sof, Vort, Yrvin, Sp00n, Krye, Ake, Pascal, Moritasan, Siu (from DS) and me that would be awesome. Even if it means waiting for a date where everyone is free, I'd rather have that than a meeting soon where only half can come.

 

We need a location and a date.

 

Yeah, I'll get right on that after I finish up my stuff at school...

I haven't planned any vacation so far this year so I could take a random week off work if a weekend is a problem for a lot of people. But I'd need to know about it in advance though.

What's the summer vacation period this year?

 

Not sure about the whole country, but i'll have summer vacaction in 3 weeks

I don't know the exact date (check back in two weeks), but my parents will be on a holiday for 3 straight weeks some time in June. My house is big enough to have everyone when my parents are gone, so if you guys don't mind traveling all the way to Purmerend, then I could host a big meeting pretty easily .

Just let me know.

PS: I bungeejumped yesterday, so I won't fear anything you guys throw at me anymore, going in headfirst from now on!

Blargh, i'm not liking the game very much right now. low punchers are absolutely killing me. Helluva annoying. I haven't seen this much rage in myself with a game for a long long time.
Blocking a low punch and then elbowing them usually results in a second low punch hitting me on counter hit. It's gay and I dont like it.

if you can't connect an elbow after blocking a low punch, you're not doing the elbow fast enough. practise, practise, practise!

uhh...yeah it was kinda oke. i had the feeling i was missing a lot of the symbolism with reference to the catholic faith. maybe that's why i didn't enjoy it that much. it wasn't bad, but i had higher expectations/hopes.

 

Yeah, sometimes it even happens when playing offline. It's because lp's have very little recovery. Supposedly lp's have been changed in VF:R, so maybe it'll be 'fixed' somehow.

It's even worse online, so what I usually do when I see someone spamming lp and I don't wanna go for jumping attacks, is just wait it out. If they do another lp, you can react to it better (from my experience anyways).

If they aren't spammers, then usually you don't have to worry about them throwing out multiple lp's after you've blocked one, so you have more time to react to them.

I usually reparse and work around, dodging, backdashing. I'm never on time with my elbow. It took me a while to get through it last time against Pas' Lion.

Scoring went like this: I take first match and then lose constantly to get to 8-1, then recovered to stride back up to 9-6, then we let Fulan back on his own machine...

This encounter made me very wary of what might happen on the 21st.

Ah, a Bergman classic. Haven't seen it though. Have to look it up some time. Dangit, I've got enough stuff lying around that I still have to watch!

Plan 9 from outer space for one, to take a completely different direction. But also Big Fish and some anime movies (Millenium Actress and Paprika to name two, still need to get my hands on Perfect Blue, recently found an English Mononoke after many years).

Hey, do I understand correctly that I'm being used as an example of a random buttonbasher? If so, that's not very encouraging.

And I know I use lowpunch a lot (it works so why not?) but I rarely use it multiple times in succession, though you can expect to see other low hitters like sweeps coming your direction.
