And yes NYC is awesome, I was staying in Harlem mostly but Shinobifist took me out a couple times to some key places in NY. I'm definatly coming back. We're in the Hotel conference room right now playing casuals, most people are coming over tonight.

@spoon: quite a lot of people prefer that setup because your two hands aren't that close together, i'm not such a big fan because of long(er) fingers the cornering of the buttons is a little different because with the standard setup the k button is a little higher than the p, but moving your button setup to the right the k is actually at the same hieght or a little lower. if you find it less comfortable, don't strain your fingers, but just turn your hand 15degrees clockwise to get that angle on the buttons back, tip from someone who got a little rsi while trying that change /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

 

Wow that's odd, it felt like the HRAP stick was more rigid, maybe it's because the stick was only a day old..? Or maybe it was because I'd been playing on Twan's HG stick all day..

What I felt from playing on those two sticks, though, was that movement seems to be easier to do somehow (I mean like cancelling your evades to dashes, dashes to evades etc), like you can do it faster. It's too late to get a custom stick before WCG, but afterwards I guess I should make an effort to get one.

Off topic: Had my first saxophone lesson yesterday, damn it's awesome .

Well I tried the LT, X & Y setup but quickly found that A, X, Y works much much better with my long fingers. With the control issue resolved I am now reminded that I haven't played for weeks and suck even more then usual. Can't even beat the Arcade mode anymore haha

 

My 360 dvd-player died, so I can no longer play any disc-based games.. so no VF for me (not at home, anyway).

Dunno if I have it back by the time the meet comes by.

Mad Catz gaat sticks maken voor Street Fighter IV, twee uitvoeringen, waarvan eentje met allemaal sanwa parts enzo. Ik ga dus maar even wachten tot die uit zijn ipv een custom stick regelen.
