Well VFS5FS has some what of a face paced motion, where VF2 is where it's more of a slow kind of pace.

I finally purchased VF2, and I'm very excited! VF2 is just so iconic. They did an incredible job with the Saturn port, but it really is great to see Shun's bridge, the walls in Wolf's stage, the coconut falling in Jeff's stage, etc. And the game is just as lightning quick, exhilarating, and unforgiving as I remember it. I have this one and Sonic the Fighters, and the AM Conversion Team really deserves a lot of respect for these ports; they're amazing! Both games are just an absolute blast and these ports capture the games' essence perfectly. The only extra thing I would like is a training mode or an option to change the region like in their Daytona USA port.

If anyone is up for some player/room match, please let me know! I'm sure lots of players stay in private rooms and I'd like to get in on the action. ;)

Yes, I was playing this yesterday on there, super smooth polygons, and all the tremendous audio intact. Seemed really clunky at first, but then Iooked the moves up on here, and it all started to slot into place a bit more. Pai's old DDT throw I remember from 3 is just 62P, unreal.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. VF2 is simply timeless and looks amazing to this day. We should play a few matches when you find the time. :)

I haven't run into a single person on Xbox Live so far...

No man, VF2 is still fast, it's just the movement isn't like it is as the VF5 series, so you need to know what cancels into what.

I'm usually on from 1:30 to 4:00 PST on weekdays, and I play later at night on weekends. Just expect a pathetic fight if you catch me online. I'm not exactly a pro at VF2. ;)

In regards to the speed, I still think VF2 is pretty quick. Especially in high level play -- blink once and you could be KO'd in an instant!

Uuuurgh. I've been holding out on this since it comes free with Yakuza 5, and I was gonna get them both together, but the vids are getting me hyped now.
