Actually, I can speak from SC1 experince, he is an interesting character, one that only as a beginner and as an expert can be powerfull...someone who is just "learning" Maxi is more likely to trip over themselves, so to speak. Learning all his various transitions, which ones to use at what times, etc, is really a feat of button dexterity and memorization. Not to mention because of the nature of his flowing attacks, you have to really think ahead to what will put you in the best situation because you can easily become "locked" into an unwanted string.
