VF5 at WCG 2009

That show sounds awesome in an odd way. Physical challenges to play video games? lol. I'm really interested to see it though.

But why did the contestants play time attack? Why not make them fight each other?

LOL - thanks guys. I have absolutely no idea why they decided to base that challenge around CPU! I agree that there should have been some kind of VS battle. I especially love Manjimaru's idea! I honestly think that if that idea was brought up to them, they may have adjusted.

 

I'm glad that WCG decided enough VFers are around to have us again. Fn' evo haters.

p.s. I Kinda get why they don't have VF at evo, but I don't fully get it

 

Yeah, why time attack in the first place? There was a big chance not everyone played the same route (Which I think that's the norm). If those players had different routes, there would be a different story. So yeah, mini-tourny FTW!

Chinese website, Tatazu.com is reporting the first five games for WCG 2009. The World Cyber Games, Inc., recently renamed from International Cyber Marketing, was founded in the year 2000 and have been the global organizer of the World Cyber Games for nine years.

Last year's tournament was located Cologne, Germany and saw competitors compete in ten PC games, including StarCraft, CS 1.6, and WarCraft 3: TFC. The tournament also featured four Xbox 360 games.

With the WCG 2009 event slated to take place later this year in Chengdu, China, the Chinese website Tatazu.com is reporting the first five games to be played at the tournament.
