Is it just me or does hitchecking Brad's new 2-hit string from ducking seem really easy? Seems like they take forever to hit after the yellow flash or the stagger icon appear.

 

Just noticed that Lion's , does 39 damage while a random CH with the second hit did 43

Also, i'm under the impression that Aoi's sweep now knocks down on normal hit, can anyone confirm this?

Also, move bodycheck (thread) for great justice.

It's worth noting that the Lion who uploaded this (Udon) doesn't really think the game is very interesting right now, and feels it's very rough.

 

So is it pretty much bye-bye to Jacky iageri as oki?

I think Jacky's oki game has a really good flow to it when it works. mid full circular knockdown as oki, iageri oki, spinning backfist oki, throw, elbow stagger.

 

Why? Because it says +3? it still can be used as pressure and i don't believe this is final. Anywho with the shuffle being a subaki is eliminates a few options.

 

In my opinion I think that FS is a big beta test or development platform for VF6. With R it was moving towards being at the end of it's life cycle like with VF4 Evo >> VF4 FT and FT being very balanced & fun to play. But the introduction of FS seems to be that AM2 is starting almost from scratch again with VF5 or this version.

 

I do wonder though what other high level players feels this say way about FS. I would also like to know if people over there people think it is actually an improvement as well. I am just curious that is all.

 

It's always tough with new iterations. You just spent however long learning the last, now have weeks of trying to adjust to the new ways. It's cool to get initial impressions but I'll wait till about October to see where opinions and players are at.
