It takes 6 frames to turn around. 9+6=15, so you can guard from the 15th frame. Since swallowkicks become active in 14 frames, you can't block them. So in theory, swallowkicks are still guaranteed, but since Lau uses his fucked up BT 9k runaway move, he's able to make it whiff.

This might work in Vanilla 5 as well, I've gotta try this out when I play again! >=D

Eileen became infinitely cooler since vanilla. Tons more style and monkey styled flow. Also looks scarier

Everybody is cool, I'm gonna end up probably changing mains in FS. I don't even know who I will select now. I'm just glad there's a greater possibility of us getting to play the game against each other.

 

^Amen. And yeah, I really felt Jacky through and through but there's so many that tempt me now. It wouldn't be beneficial to myself to just blindly stick with Jacks. Really though, I'll probably play everyone a little, with this likely being my only 'serious' fighter if it comes home.

Personally I would probably switch from Kage to Jacky.

 

Sarah was my main, but I used Eileen and Vanessa too. Now that Sarah actually looks GOOD, it will be the same. I'l mess with Van and Eileen, but i'm gonna try and pick up Jean Kujo. Seems like nobody uses him, should give some advantage with the general unfamiliarity.

I'm using Jean now, although I consider Taka to be the business character. I just need someone to play to improve my VF fundamentals, since I feel Taka exists outside of that realm lol.
