I had lunch with the director of MvC3 (no, not Niitsuma), and we were talking and I asked what fighters he played, and he said Virtua Fighter, so we started talking about that, and then after about 5 minutes, he said "So... shall we play?" and laughed. We ate lunch quickly, went to a nearby arcade and played a couple of matches. Here are two matches I saved, one where he won and one where I won. He joked that people only save matches where they win, but I told him that I'll save the matches I lose if I needed to remind myself of a mistake I made or if it was a good match.

About the video LegendaryHero90 posted : very impressive stage, I really like it . As for the endning credits , I hear a song from Takenobu Mitsuyoshi .Is it from the VF anime ? What's the name of the song ?

@Reno : Great videos ! The director of MvC3 plays very well. He knows what he is doing . Reno if you ever meet him again ,please tell him to port VF5FS to PS3/X360. If SEGA can't do it ,maybe Capcom can lol !

 

I'm surprised those matches aren't on srk, seeing as they eat up anything MvC3 related, even if its not directly related...

Soo, mind if I ask what things about VF did you talk about?

 

Like Zangief in Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix!!! I hope that any interview/inter-bash involving VF includes the fact that Sega has been silent, and that they should be put on blast, especially since there's some "Fighting Festival" involving a bunch of games... It's like MLK not being considered a force in the Civil Rights Movement... It just doesn't make sense...

Anyway, nice matches... Anyone seen any new Jeffry matches with him winning???

Often times I see Koedo playing vs Kage. I take it Koedo and Jin are sparring partners for a good portion of their matches played. GIven the right player, sometimes that really helps.

It'd be cool if developers from other companies would be able to convince Sega to release their gem. Harada or Ono should be like, yo Sega just release it already! Give the people what they want, it's about having others play our games we've created!
