As talented as you and Akmaal are I'll need any edge I can get... especially since FS seems to be geared towards offense than defense. You two are naturally more gifted at the offense thing than I am [​IMG]

    I would take around 10~20 dmg off the Tetsuzanko. Instead of 70 on normal and 120 on CH, I would like it to be 60 on normal, 100 on CH (although CH is % ...).

    Anyway, Although it is 120 on CH, tell me... how much dmg can you do with a 17f move on CH with other characters? From the videos we've seen... around 30~150~over 9000. 30 if you don't do shit, ~100~120 if you continue with a combo, more if you have a wall, etc.


    And even if not... not all 17f moves are -32 on block! You can go shopping, come back, sing a song, rest a bit, get up, kill the motherfucker and he still have 10f to spare!

    It's safe to say that bodycheck is now a knockdown attack...I don't think we'll be seeing any combos unless there is some (bad?) luck and a wall involved.

    Remember when you were a kid and everybody came over for your birthday and started shooting silly string all over the place and the next day dad was really pissed off and told you to clean that shit up?

    Bodycheck is like dad telling you to clean that shit up.

    I don't usually complain about a moves being too cheap but god damn! I see it now all the scrubs online will be using Akira or rather Akira-sama and this is how it will play out: P,P, sidestep bodycheck. lol

    In vanilla 5, I was able to get 103 damage with a side hit (followed by 43P -> DlbPm), it 4 Evo, I think 97 was what you got for deepest side counter hit. The damage is upped, but going from 13 frame to 17 frame exe is a big difference, and -32, I'd say some charge attacks aren't that slow.

    it's a good point that the command really makes it around 18, I remember Arcadia books saying SDE is really 15 due to input.

    Did anyone see the clip from FS where Aki does 46P -> P -> DLC (wall) DJK for 90-ish damage? that's a 14 frame high that's +1 on guard... no one's complaining about that, but I think you're much more likely to see that more often

    personally, I think this kind of thing is exciting. If it were up to me, Giant Swing would be 100 points every time, Kage'd have to old TFT etc, it's part of what makes VF different and fun

    Don't forget that life in VF5FS has been increased 20 points, or ten percent from VF5R, as well. So an MC bodycheck isn't quite as powerful as you might think if you don't take into account the higher lifebars. I just can't believe that dodge -> bodycheck does all that damage but Wolf's giant swing is doing a measly 55/65 points. Show Wolf some love please...

    You are having a laugh aren't you? 120 is 60% of 200 and 55% of 220. That 10% life increase doesn't change the fact that it's doing huge damage.

    I didn't even think of it like that, there's not much difference in the bodycheck damage between Vanilla and FS then... They just changed how it works.

    Yep, also [6][6][6][P]> [2][P]> DLC did 75. I think we're going to see a fair bit more damage from both of these moves when people get used to the combo system.

    Personally, I don't think bodycheck when fighting Akira will be a big deal, he's got other moves that will have me more worried.

    I really want to see some more WTF damage moves honestly; as long as they have different utility and are crazy punishable or unlikely to hit.

    Think of them as blockable tekken unblockables, just faster and punishable but ultimately more useable in a match. These things could give VF some of that comeback spark that attracts people to SFIV. Granted combos due that already really.

    I think I will be utterly heartbroken and shattered if they don't port this game. It just looks too good to not let me play.

    This game just looks gorgeous. The animation is freaking top-notch!

    Every character just looks so fluid and real, in action, it's impressive -- even though I expected the game to look extremely good. SEGA just ups the ante with EVERY SINGLE version and every version is really THAT much better than the last. This VF game has the best animation and graphics in the world IMO, there's a second-best game out there but it's not within 100 light-years of this.

    Regardless of their shitty decision making as far as giving us the game, these developers deserve to be worshiped basically.

    THAT'S what the fuck I wanted! Regardless of whether we get this game or not I gotta give AM2 props on stepping up the fierceness of this game.
    Really, it's cool if we don't get this game. I'm alright with it, I got VF5 version C and that's a great game. If those crazy guys at Sega decide to never bring another VF game to consoles, that's cool. I'll just keep playing VF5. That's fine.

    Oh and Sega, if you don't bring this game to consoles, I KEEEL YOU!!

    Yes but a combo can be fluffed, it requires timing and a lot more inputs with more room for error rather than just one single move (even if 43p>DBLPM is an easy one). Plus you don't need a side crumple to get the damage from body check you can in FS.

    But most missed launchers, don't guarantee a launch. It all evens out at the end.

    that crazy 120 damage was a side counter hit, you're not gonna get that much from a front hit, cause you can't get deep enough into the other character, Bodycheck's always worked like that
