    Can you choose Japanese Commentary?

How does the Memory Card work?
is the data loaded/saved directly to the mc before/after the match?
Which means I can take my card out after match and take it directly to another system and use the data I just got.

The joystick problem is a big thing cause most people are not gonna drop freakin $150+ for quality stick for ONE GAME. Most will either play pad/cope with pad or go with hori ex2.

Needless to say I've already expressed my opinion of the hori ex2. But to reassure myself the hori ex2 I knew that came in yesterday is no more. 4:58 PM of October 23, I took an End Mill to the peice of shit and it's changed so much I don't even call it an Hori Fighting Stick EX2.

    lol

Im pretty much in the same boat as Myke. I cant commit to buying a whole system for a potentially outdated version of VF.. I see the newest update somehow on ps3, Now if this does not happen then I will consider the 360 but I can be patient its not about the system its about not wasting money.

About 95% of DOAC are children, drama queens, trolls or e-thugs, though. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Yes, I have the same question.
    Can you use Japanese commentary?

I also LOVE the Japanese commentary. It is so good and seems so natural to. Also, it makes sense, unlike the silly American commentary. Could also be that I'm used to it after seeing probably over 1-2000 videos.

To enable Japanese commentary on the PS3 version, you simply just had to change your language settings under the PS3 system configuration to Japanese. Maybe the XBOX 360 works in a similar way?

*mental note* this site needs a VF5 360 FAQ

For the demo, if you change your console's langauge to Japanese, the game's menu and commentary would be in Japanese.

You are a god amongst men (and Myke too). Looks like my console will be in Japanese from now on! And if it works in the demo, it should work in the full game! Hallelujah! That is the ONE thing that I wanted haha!

Dude, I am aware of what you can do with a record feature. It is nice. That said, it's absence will not keep any of the players who are more hard core than you from purchasing it, so your position is a strange one, whether you realize it or not.

Also, you really shouldn't talk shit to someone about their level of skills or hardcore-ness when you haven't played them because

    1. it is not nice

    2. if that is person is better than you, you are left looking like a silly guy

well if that's all you said in your earlier post i doubt anyone would've reacted the way they did. as it was your rant about how "da real HARDCORE VF5 playa's is all gettin da pimp downz on da PS3 version in da ghetto, duuuude!" and references to xbox live being populated by "kiddies and DOA online scrubs" was what singled your post out for retardation status.

My system/locale is always set to Japanese, so no problem there for me. Hopefully they didn't change it. :]

The only thing I like about the English commentary is the "Evade, man!" thing they always say.
BBoy, you should add me on Live? Maybe we can play sometime?

Yep, this very site. You can look for command lists, complete with frame-data on the top left corner of the page.

Sure, I will play any and everyone. I probably may not be playing for the first week or two though. Going in from ground zero, I want to at least make sure I have my character's (Akira or Brad, probably Akira since I'm already practicing him hardcore) frame data and mechanics down before fighting other people. Or else, it really would be rather worthless.

My copy of Virtua Fighter 5 for the 360 has just arrived. The only thing I'm missing is the not-yet-arrived Arcade Stick, though.

My complaints about the 360 D-PAD are mild. As expected, it is kind of hard to put off 360°-directional movements with it. Every movement but this one plays just fine with the digital pad; this is nothing compared to an Arcade Stick, though.
