VF5R Location Test Movies

^ That backhand looks sick animation wise. The crumple off it looks like you have to react quick but looks like you could land say, Iaigeri > 3K+G off it or something. Or maybe 4K+G into heavy down or somethin, duno.

What do you think changed about 6PK from that vid? The kick looks like it angles up a bit more and retracts quicker. I know something changed about it but duno if it was a property change or just cosmetics.

 

That move wasn't 4p, it seems to be a new move entirely..Jacky was seen doing his normal 4p in the second round and it didn't look like the one he was doing in the final round. I could be wrong on this thou

Ah I see what you mean. It's very hard to tell though because he does side shuffle out of it which makes it difficult to differentiate between the two attacks. I think this is why you were unsure? I guess a quick glance at this VF5R movelist will help.

I heard that gatling gun kick and the other catch throw are done from step now, I thought they had been removed completely. I really hope they have improved Sarah's step cause it is a huge trainwreck in vf5.

Now watching these vids Ive missed..

In this the step itself looks pretty much as slow as before but gatling gun kick came pretty quickly from it. Possibly the startup animation of it has been removed. O well.

In this you can see that FL KKKK or whatever that 4kickstring is wasnt throwcounterable (there was a throw clash after it)

1:21 abouts, Shou does either a DM attack with different animation or OM attack that has REALLY short evade distance.. The kick looks like Sarahs current OM K so maybe the latter. Also I think its OM K because SHou did the old DM attack in some other vid iirc..

ps. Guys, call it by name please, BOTH Sarahs throws from flamingo are catch throws..

That Backwards Walk is the shit. HE seems really focused in battle now albiet it looks as if the speed is reduced.Don't be suprise if you see it for a few steps in a online match with me. Fuck kicking while down i'll just step back on a Nucca.

I noticed Jacky gets a new low punch animation, and he also gets a new kind of standing backfist....also he seems to have a quicker low kick (at 1:41)

I remember reading somewhere that he gets a fancy new set of kicks as well that was added to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, unfortunately I think it isn't in this video.
