AM2 can add lots of gore and fatalities, it gets banned down-unda, AM2 makes a few cool statements, BAM! awesomeness ensues (with all the much needed publicity).

I am actually starting to agree that Sega should just kill the VF series and start something new (a spiritual successor, anyway) I mean, WTF is "Virtua" Fighter anyway? All the "Virtua" franchises started when 3D was something new and "Virtual" was a cool word (like 20 years ago) and died for good reasons. The name hurts more than helps for many different reasons.

Whatever you do, do NOT let any of the Sega designers, past or present, design anything visual or write a "story". (Okay, Last Bronx actually had some serviceable designs and a plot to boot, but god no Fighting Vipers.) Hire some manga artists (outsource to Korea if you don't want to spend money) to design characters and a plot that's halfway serviceable. (At least not as laughable.)

Smashy is a boxer with Microcephaly, and stands as tall as Shun but is as heavy as Jacky. His boxing style is unique in that, he doesn't practice boxing per say, but he mostly uses his hands/palms (and head). He is very straight forward with only three-four stances/weird thingies, but with tons of strange (game breaking?) features.

He is a character who can be quite predictable due to a lack of options (though it is all he needs), generally has short range (except for F:), is quite linear, less than average throwing game, and is kinda gimped in that his fastest move is :. Otherwise he has several quick attacks that do decent damage, simple combos, is generally very safe, and is evasive (can change ring positioning very quickly).

Movelist:

ARM- Smashy's ARM is different from all other characters; depending on what direction you're holding (i.e. B_ he'll align his body to it and run flailing his arms screaming. This is a wonderful way to maintain space (though his attacks generally lack range) and to cause WTF moments in matches.

- This is a 13f palm strike, with the exact properties to Blaze's :BK::F: (including how it beats highs), +2 +6 +8
- Double palm, this is his version of "" Only gives +3 on hit, +6 on MC. -4 on block.
- After his palm strike, Smashy lets loose a riotous laugh (there are several sound files so it won't become repetitive) and enters Laugh Stance.
- No different than above, except it you'll generally have less advantage, goes to Laugh Stance.
+- is a special high head butt, can be delayed (useful for vs DM>attackers). -15 on block, slam on any hit for a combo.

:- This is no different than any other :s.

:bk:- This is a 14f "elbow", a quick mid thrust, -5 0 +7
:bk:- goes to Laugh Stance.
:bk:+- is a special high head butt, can be delayed (useful for vs DM>attackers). -15 on block, slam on any hit for a combo.

:BK::BK:- 13f high slap that goes to BT. -3 +3 +6

:F:- this is his "knee," a mid hitting 17+ palm upper cut. Leads to a combo on any hit. -13 down down.
:F:- goes to Laugh Stance

F:- this is his 16f "side-kick" and it has really good range (almost Jeffry's F:). Smashy jumps forward and gives a mid hitting slap to the opponent's stomach. -6 0 +5
F::BK:- Smashy jumps back (like Akira :F::BK
F::BK:- Smashy jumps back (like Akira :F::BK, goes to Laugh Stance.

B:- Low slap, similar to Jacky's, half-circ covering stomach. -10 -5 +4
B:- High palm for knockdown, combos only on MC. -13 down down
B:- goes to Laugh Stance

:F::F:- 15 frame mid palm, decent range, not very good in damage but can apply guessing game (Goh's :F:). -6 -3 +4
:F::F:- goes to Laugh Stance
:F::F:+- is a special high head butt, can be delayed (useful for vs DM>attackers). -15 on block, slam on any hit for a combo. If :F::F:+ is used in combo, the + portion leads to slam hit that is just-techable but if not leads to free downed attack.

:F:+- headbutt that comes that the end of several strings, 14f special high. Super unsafe on block, so use primarily when at +14. -14 down down
:+- 28f homer simpson style running on floor 180 headbutt sweep. Smashy recovers down.
F:+- 18f mid head butt, leads to stomach crumple on MC. -9 -3 s.crumple
:bk:+- anti-high sabaki, Smashy ducks down slightly and fails arms above head and screams. Sabakis all highs. Leads to +13 (free >laugh stance set ups) and is active for the entire duration of 40 frames.
B:+- 16f High double slap, leads to crazy advantage. -10 +8 +13
B:+- goes to Laugh Stance

:F::+- Hit throw that connects even on block. Leads to Parasite Stance.
:BK:- 16f flop launcher, hits mid. -12 flop flop

Laugh Stance
- Same as regular , leads to same options.
:F:- A 14f mid palm that leads to crumple on mC/MC. -6 +1 s.crumple
:- 19f Downward smack, forces crouch on any hit. -8 +2 +6

:F:/:BK:/:/:UP:- Leads to creeper stance (runs in that direction).

Creeper Stance

Parasite Stance (similar to clinch or Vanessa's hand hold; can be struggled out of if you fail to enter inputs fast enough)
:F:/:BK:/:/:UP:- after initial 15 damage, Smashy jumps off the opponent's shoulder's in that direction. + 6, -9 if escaped. (escaped through struggle)
- Proceedes to bite the opponent's face and neck. 25 damage, opponent recovers down. -4 and lose 10 hit points if escaped. (escape with )
+- head butts the opponent. 25 damage, opponent recovers down. -4 and lose 10 hit points if escaped. (escape with +)

Back turned:
- 11f hit palm, not evasive like regular , but leads to same options. -2 +4 +6
:- 14f low palm. -4 +2 +4
:F:- 16f mid backhand, half-circ covering back. -4 +2 +5
:UP:_:_:F:_:BK:- hopscotch jumps.

Wall stance (must be near wall, works in BT too) [Smashy can cling to walls, but only for a limited time of 3 seconds; a grip indicator appears where Shun's count is)
:UP:++- Jumps on to the wall behind him.
:UP_:/other directions- climbs up or to the side you input.
- Claws like a cornered cat and makes hissing sounds. Limited range, knocks down on hit.

Got a new wish!

Goh, Aoi and Blaze have counter throws.

Basically when they succesfuly break a throw they have a window to perform a throw of their own. This throw can be broken just like any other though.

Low throws, ground grabs and standing throws all count.
