VFDC Community Combo Video Idea: Taka Must Die

I can send some El Blaze combo's. I made 4 combo videos with him already.

 

I went ahead and recorded my combos against Taka whilst I was making my latest combo video *shameless plug: It's called Behemoth and you can see it in the VF.TV thread on this site* I'm going to send it to you AzureWanderings here as an unlisted video along with the transcript to re-create it. Also if you need any help re-creating the combos, let me know.

 

What's up guys? Sorry this thread hasn't been so active lately, but I wanted to let you guys know I haven't forgotten about it. We only have 3 characters who aren't represented so most of the cast is covered.

I'll still be doing the recording for the video, but I may also have some assistance with the editing. This is a very ambitious project and I'm glad that you guys have all volunteered. If you're currently working on material, keep at it. I'm working on another video project at this time, there's new games coming out in the next month or so, and I also have other commitments as well. So I ask, please don't be upset if things feel like they're moving kinda slow at the moment. We will get this done.

If you want to see the quality I can record at, check out the video I posted in the thread for customizations here in the General subforum and let me know if the quality is acceptable. As always, if any of you can record at higher quality, or HD, and don't mind doing the recording, I'm ok with that. It's a large portion of the project, but I'm ok with taking as much time as we need.

 

I'll look into Aoi and see what she can do against the big boy if no-one is volunteering.

Oh, I have a few Taka-specific combos. Heh, I just haven''t posted them yet because I'm a lazy mofo. Plus I don't have a video setup for display.

As long as you have a transcript, the creator(s) of the video can replicate the combo and credit you.

 

Ah, we recently did get a volunteer for Aoi, but I didn't get the chance to update the first post. If you guys have material to provide, then I'll add your names. At this point the only characters who aren't represented are Lion and Shun.

I'm down to contribute more combos... it's a cool idea and I wouldn't want it to fall by the wayside.

 

What's up guys? My sincerest apologies I've been out of contact for so long due to other commitments, but I'm back on the VF grind and I haven't forgotten about this project. As you can see by previous posts, tmd02 has volunteered to do the recording for this project and I am willing to appoint him as the new project lead and I will be the assistant project lead. So you can already predict what kind of quality to expect from this when it's all finished. Please send your submissions to him and if you like, send them to me as well so I can just cross-check everything. For those who have sent me submissions, I will forward them to him.

As a special way to give credit to all the participants, we have decided to use each of your costume edits for your characters. Please send your favorite costume edit for your character(s) to tmd02 in the following format:

Costume Type: A/B/C/D/E/S
HEAD:
FACE:
ARMS:
UPPER:
LOWER:

Obviously, only list items where applicable. If a hair style is the default color for example, just say (default).

When the project name is abbreviated , it translates to T.M.D., so I think it's only fitting that tmd02 be the project lead. Once again, sorry I've been MIA for so long, but we're back and just as excited to see the final product as the rest of you. Let's make this big!

I can still help with Akira's stuff, can PM you a bunch of combos. If you need help with the inputs can do a quick vid just to show you how their done, let me know what you need

 

Yes please! And can you record the footage fore me to also reference, with the angles included and positioning, I don't want to make any mistakes

 

Just a quick status update:

I have received material from the following members:
ApocryphicV, Tricky, metadata, Pacjcsi78, and Sharizord

I'll be forwarding these to tmd02. In the meantime, be sure to send your costume items to him as well using the above template.

The only characters who aren't represented at this point are Lion and Shun. Any takers? Or know anyone who would be willing to participate?

 

I dunno if these conversation thingies work at all as I've sent you some stuff with Goh and Jean way back when and I sent a couple of Shun combos to tmd but neither has ever replied anything to me. Maybe they just weren't the kind of stuff you were looking for?

Truth be told I'm not even sure if you want to have practical combos or "combovideo combos" perfomed on Taka or both? I can try to work on one or two more tricky wall combos for Shun but I can't record anything myself.

If you want practical stuff I can send you basic Lion combos but I'm not willing to put my time into figuring out any wallstuff with him.
