I always disable the music after some weeks. It just sucks if you have to listen to the same music all the time. I liked the music in 4/4evo much better then 5/r

You don't have to. There is an easter egg that changes the BGM to those of Past VFs, and more. I think you hold /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/n.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif before the stage is loaded. There was a whole something on it, and I don't know where it is.

The first two VF games I ever played VF3 and VF4 didn't have a single track I liked especially compared to some of the games I'd played before them (SF2, Fatal fury 2, Tekken 2 and Soul Blade). VF4 Evo finally had at least a couple of good tracks in Lau and especially Kage's stages. VF5's music is not too bad but nothing stand out for me while I think VF5R has a few good tracks. In R I like Akira's theme best followed by Wolf's, parts of Dural and Aoi's BGM are good too.

From what I've heard of it VF2 has possibly the best music in the VF series but IMO it's still nowhere near as good as the BGM in the other games I mentioned of which I rate Tekken 2 as having the best.

Hell fucking Yeah and the Stage is THAT Awesome!!!

I plan on fighting on that stage every time out. Its has a Ring out and Ring in so tides can turn. Can complain about getting throw out or being lock in.

 

Lei-Fei's music on VF5R is pretty cool. It's a perfect fighting song.

Those are really nice alternate BGM's, I think I like Akira's the best out of them...

I've been watching more VF5R vids these days and man... almost every new track is better! And I already like VF5's OST a lot..

Blaze's and Lei Fei's new songs really got me pumped for some fighting :3

Where are the mp3/dl for these already?! I'd pay for the OST if one was released but free > your face. Listening to R more, it's dead tied with 2 as my favorite now.

I'd say that VF5R soundtracks are definitely generally better than VF5's soundtracks (though Jacky's stage music is arguable). However, I still think that while it sounds cool it could still be so much better.

The best sound tracks are always the high andrenaaline, memorable and distinctive ones. Therefore, I believe the best music sound tracks for VF are from VF3, 2 and 1. VF4 soundtracks were definitely the weakest out of the bunch!
