Last year 1up.com broke the news first (September 09) that Yakuza 3 was indeed being released in America. Sega didn't Officially announce American Yakuza 3 untill December 09, when they had a March 2010 release date. So don't expect Sega to confirm or deny VF5 FS untill they have a firm release date.




The timiing will be good. SSF4 will have fighters out in droves. Sega could do well if it makes VF5 FS release in the Christmas Season. Either way , the driving reason Sega might bring FS to us is the same reason they gave us cult hits like Yakuza 2 and 3, fan service. MVC3 is a non factor . I was hyped for MVC3 when I first heard of it, because I thought it was going to be in SF4 art style . Actually the art will similar to Tatsonoko vs Capcom., so I'm much less enthused.

When the official announcement for FS on consoles happens, it'll be one of the greatest days in gaming history. And when that does happen, we'll need a thread to contain the thousands of "Thank you" 's to Sega and AM2 from VF fans everywhere so we can send that to them like the console petition.

Wow... I can hardly believe I'll actually get to play Goh in VF5FS! The best game ever will finally come to consoles... I can't wait!

I'm wondering if the online and training modes will be beefed up and if so, by how much??? A faster loadup time would be a plus also!!!

 

For the FS release, I highly doubt it. Skipping over R was Segas plan all along. FT didnt make console and people were upset about not getting the definitive version so they decided skip over R this time.

I think the petition might have some bearing in what features they will be adding though.

 

I TOLD Sal he should have kept his suggestion of Quest (for women) Mode. That VF dating sim would have sold many, many copies.

 

And if, the PS3 version has online, which it should, I will finally be able to show off my well honed losing skills
