right on. it's unfair to bash another game.

and no one needs to defend VF. it's history and prestige speak for itself.

Eat shit, it`s good. Billion Flys can`t be wrong.

(ok enough of this funny mode, while a tekken is not a bad game.
Democracy do not apply in all of things.)

I mean, all of humanity could be wrong. And you know the "truth".
But as far i can see, the only truth can be wisdom. If you take everything else away. What is there left that you cannot take away, and it apply in everywhere? You must realizibe by now that intelligence apply only in special cases.

Being better is not universal, its all up to you. Or a another special case.

And every game is a special case.

By the way, our universe is only a special case.

Man, you had me up until the humanity talk... I felt like I was watching Final Fantasy: Spirits Within or something... But the 1st sentence is quotable though...

because nobody here has ever looked down on guilty/melty as "anime" games, or tekken/sc as scrubby namco games, or kof as some shitty old snk game only played in mexico.

    lol

    Someone bad-mouthed VF? [IMG]

We must hunt him down before nightfall so that he does not spread his foolish misconceptions to the Scrub community!!

I play all of those games homey. And I enjoy them all (except kof xii). Out of that bunch, my personal favs are mbac, ggxx:mc, ttt, and sc3:ae...

    Just listened to part 2,

Somehow I feel that this podcast is not really telling me anything worth listening. Its like the guy is 13 years old. why is he saying things like "yo this shit is wack" and "awesome" and "totally" so many times? I understand that videogames are supposed to be for children, but also that there has to be a place to discuss games in a grow up manner.

They didn't mention Ryan's afro being the source of his power once. I'm kinda dissapointed.

I can only applaud the guys at IAmTekken for coming up with a podcast related to fighting games that is not restricted to the usual fanboyism in the scene but that deals with the genre of fighting games from a more critical perspective, not even sparing their Tekken franchise for its flaws.

It was nice to hear again from Ryan Hart in the interview. Not to forget, Ryan Hart has written some insightful columns on LowLandLions that are worth one's while too.

I saw Tekken 6 for $19.99 on Amazon. It's finally worth buying now so I'll pick it up. I don't see what the uproar is. It's a Tekken podcast, of course they are biased. They saw a new VFFS trailer, and they bashed it because they felt threatened . Not only that but the guy who made all the negative statements all but retracted them by using a disclaimer . He said the podcast is intended for entertainment purposes only, and as such, he will tend to exaggerate. No harm no foul. That said, why post subsequent episodes of his podcasts, as if they will be any less retarded than the first one. Slow news day I guess?

Ryan doesn't sound like he's too keen on SF4 or T6 and it's affecting his motivation to practice. Some of the things he mentioned about T6 are also things I'm not liking - massive juggles that carry from nearly 1 side to the other into a wall, lack of defensive options, inconsistencies, rage and nerfed movement.

Play Tekken Tag and look at the backdash, sidestep and tracking in comparison.
