You guys know that the game wont work out well if your playing cross country.


You should play at least in state until you know your ping and are to adjust your range(still doubt you will be able to play across country with optimal connection.)


With my expeirence with tekken dro...to get the best connection have your sytem connected directly to your modem or router. Make sure that the only thing using your internet is your xbox360 vf5 game. A good ping where the game is almost lag free is 15-20(the person you are playing must have a similiar ping as well). Again you will proably only get these connections in state.


May i suggest we do something like this for each state? It would provide a better expierience.

The online feature for this event is just for fun.

I fully understand and I'm sure others that join to play that day know the potential of lag for most of the matches.

Its just a fun way to be a part of our gathering. The local or in state players should try to join up offline that day at my place, but now they and people out of state who cant make it can join and play the Socal crew from home.

More tips and info on the gathering will come as the date gets closer

Ok.. PLEASE READ THIS. The event that is scheduled for Nov.3rd MIGHT be delayed until further notice.

Problem is arcade sticks. Right now we only have 2. That equals to one 360 setup.

So I will need to know who can bring what. If their are not enough setups then the event will be cancelled.

The final decision will be made on November 1st. Please let me know you if you are coming and if you can bring anything.

Well - I can bring a PS3 set-up. Also, even if only one X360 set-up is online (yours), that's enough for the online bash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif.

So I started to think how a Team Tournament will work online. Here is my idea for this event.

the standard gathering/ free play will start at 12pm PST. Socal will be having a gathering where we will have 4 setups. 3 offline and 1 online

I recommend that everyone that is going to be playing online try to host a offline gathering in your local area on the same day.

For Example: I know that Nocal and Utah are trying to do this exact thing

It will be Team battle 2v2 @ 7pm PST
Standard VF rules apply
Each region will have there own Tournament. The top 2 teams in there region will play in the online tournament. If you only have two players at your regional gathering then you automatically advance to the online tournament

So here is the example:
Socal has 8 players with 4 teams playing in the local tournament. Team Socal A and B advance to the online portion of the tournament.

Meanwhile

Nocal has 6 players with 3 teams playing in the local tournament. Team nocal B and C advance to Online portion of the Tournament.

Colorado has 4 players with 2 teams playing. Since they only have 2 teams they automatically advance.

So the remaining teams will play in the online tournament 2 8pm PST

This is just an idea and not written in stone if anyone has a better idea let me know
