WCG West/East Brackets

If it's not too much, do you know who he plays? Also on a scale of 1 to 10 how good do you think he is? 10 being Yosuke and 1 being darthminion, thanks.

quick question: since i was 2nd place to Yosuke in the first East bracket, and because he is not eligible to obtain any travel stipends, does that mean im already in the finals this year? just thought i'd ask...

 

No... Well it depends on whether or not Yosuke decides to go to the event. If he goes which he can do, then no you are not qualified. If he doesn't go then no you are not qualified unless you contact WCG and they say other wise.

I advise you to just try to qualify at the next event to be safe. Hope that helps.

Not directed towards Flash, but seriously everyone should contact WCG directly with any of their concerns. We do not make the rules for them. I have been saying this since like last month and a lot of what people thought was Yosuke bashing could have been avoided if everyone just contacted WCG directly and post there results.

I may still go. or maybe not. It depends on my school schedule, and how the event goes. There are 2 reasons I may be there. 1 is that when its held during my summer break which I need to use a hotel. 2 is that there are so many players from VFDC that the tournament looks like just a gathering. even if there is no travel stipend, it would cost me just as much as the price of hotel to get a flight ticket. or it may depends on the place. going to LA and NY is a big difference.


in any case, I suggest you should take the 1st place yourself. you would be able to.

 

My first opponent messaged me saying he couldn't play, but now it won't let me submit my win. I've filed a support ticket, so hopefully they resolve the issue in time for my match. I actually played a good amount yesterday to remove some of my rust, so I'll be upset if I don't get to move on in the bracket.

My next match is supposed to be against stevyn. I added him on XBL, but it doesn't seem like the GT is correct.

Have I mentioned how much I dislike online play/qualifiers? -_-

 

I have the exact same problem and messaged the support team but no one has replied to me yet. So far i've had nothing but a bad experience dealing with their website and online qualifiers.

 

to my knowledge, you can not submit a win until during the official time frame of when matches begin and end. If you are trying to enter a win / loss early it will not accept it.

I could be wrong, but I think this is the case. Just try back later tonight after the official start time.

 

while what they are trying to do is pretty cool the WCG remains one of the worst run organizations I've ever encountered.

 

rod this was for last nights game. By 12pm today I still wasnt able to submit a win. Seems like they got it fixed but now the new problem is my next opponents xbl gamer tag doesn't exist. lol

 

The handle for players on the bracket does not equal as their gamertag.

You have to be logged in and view the match info as KoD has stated to view their email and gamertag.

This happened since the first tournament week. I suggest everyone to contact your opponents one day before the wcg schedule. If they do care about this, they will reply you asap.
If they don't reply or the tag doesn't exist or never show up, just submit a win after the match time. How much time you have to wast on this?? I'm glad I don't need to suffer for this crap again......

Ive opened 2 support tickets since this morning and have yet to get a response as to who my opponent is in the 2nd round this is pathetic.

 

I've been messaging these guys all day about this xbox gamer tag (not screen name or handle) that doesnt exist. Now its match time and not only is my opponent nowhere to be found, I still havent got a response about what to do from wcg. lol

 

Im starting to wonder if they are having issues. If you look at the Guitar Hero bracket, almost no one has a second round matchup for tonight. If I don't see my support ticket resolved in the next 30mins I'm calling it a night and creating another support ticket saying I was online, had no opponent and if I'm given a loss I'll be pissed.

 

I just wonder why they show our names and dont show the XBOX gamer tag on the bracket.

 

This is probably a bad sign of the end for the WCG. CGS fell apart and it looks like WCG is finally apart big time.

 

I got them to respond to me hella fast when i had issues 1st round. I Guess they take random long ass breaks.....
