Weekend Trocadero Thread -- London

hey optimus, i wouldnt mind if it was that one night but its been going on for years....all i`m saying is if people always want to have me as the brunt of some amusement i would rather not play thats all...sick of the nonsense and just because im always chilled about it people think its a meal ticket to have a field day. enough already..

As for the fights, some very very good play. Raging silver put in some work with Jacky that i commend, also the good thing to see was that for the most part there were no easy matches which was great to see... very good to see...

Yeah, Friday was ace. I hadn't been down for a few weeks. In the beginning, when it was just Optimus going mental and whipping everyone, that was cool. I like it when there's less people, then you can play more if you're rubbish /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

 

thanx Vo. It turned out to be a good to great day at AA's house. My Jacky needed a serious warm up before I got any better with him. Thankfully by the time the ranking trny was up, I was warmed up enough. I was watching all the matches that Opti had and by the end of each match he was sweating like a waterfall. Each match was hard work for him. I saw that Shun one u did, again like Ryan said, I can understand why u went backwards, hehe.

Anyway, I had fun, shame I had to leave early. I had a long trip the next day to the isle of wight.

I blame G-ho for the profuse sweating, me not being at the best of health and all when he gave me a poisoned scotch egg the night before /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif , oh and the tense matches ^_^

 

looks like you are finally getting comfortable with your game rich, well done. i got real bang up fpr the most part. goh is a real tricky character to use. going back to wolf seemed alot easier even though my game was not there. i mean i was trying to buffer m-shlrms and doing all sorts of goh moves with my stupid confused head! ^^

i'll get practicing. i need it.

highlights -- yinka 3-0ed ryan and almost won the set in his ranking match, it was an awsome display by yinka and i think he was really at some of his best.

Dat's akira now is stronger than ever, you could feel it when facing him. now i know the distance between the top players and the later VF joiners are beginning to close in. the Uk is becomming so strong!!

me vs Jun - heh, i'm not going to try and say that i played well. i was completely out-played in the last set. although some bait wolf tactics won me a game. it was like facing a mirror and i was getting creamed by things i was gonna do on him like a split second later.

reminded me of some things tho, thanks jun!.

best highlight --- hatim's movie file with the couple in the shop. that is gonna keep me laughing for days. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

 

Hey London Vf'ers,

Thought I would post this here as it related to the troc. I'm down in Brighton and there is a serious lack of Vf talent on the coast. I'm not always around to come to London to play but was in the Troc yesterday with my mate and had a few rounds. Was hoping to get some challenges in against the serious players for practise and experince but no one around. I can't always make the weekend evenings cause of travel situation but when are good times to make the pilgrimage for a session with you guys? Was at absolution and took a bit of a slap against top tiers, but have been working on my game but the lack of decent players is seriously slowing my improvement, hence the post.

Would appreciate any offers etc of meets or times when it would be good to go a few rounds.

Sup, yeah the best time to get some practise in against a variety of opponents is friday from 5:30 onwards.Alot of some other peeps go during the week but they go LATE /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif
