Weekly League @ Game Focus STARTS NOW!

looks like i won't be able to make it for this sat again, (can't even just get one bloody day off work.... /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif).
however i'll be down at P2W till late tomorrow (this fri 22th) yes i'll have to travel all the way down to london again /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif but i've only got friday off, i'm bored and can't wait for the next league gathering........ hope to see some of you guys tomorrow who wish to practice a day before your weekly league then....

 

i'm creaming to play vf 2morrow been praticing hard to make up for the lack of pratice for the past weeks
should be down with sarah hopefully. might also try out my newly made shun hic /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

 

Try your new characters on me then. i wasn't good before I stopped practicing so I'd like to ease myself back in this time.

If it's tomoz I might be able to make it this time. Last week I had stuff to do and I had no money to make it, lol. But doesn't mean I'm still practising. I need to face more ppl anyway and like BK said, if he brings his memory card, We can show some footage of the guyz playing /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

well gr8 turn out for today and some good play from everyone. We managed to save some replays of the guyz playing so hopefully when arch angel gets the vids done I'll put them up on the net for everyone to watch. laterz

 

Yeah respect to everyone that turned up excellent turnout, seems that everone's game is getting better week by week, now that I got the game I will be doing some heavy training.

 

Next league will be on Saturday 6th September 2003

This is due to Sony Experience next week and the fact that Sega are egging on VF4 players to win loads of VF4 goodies such as the VF4 Evo arcade machine!

 

Wow, some pretty scary skills were on display. Had loads of fun trying not to loose 3-0 every match to that Vanessa player - I scraped a lame 2 rounds from him. Who was he? I think he went over 20 matches undefeated.

Respect to all the London players, though. When I first arrived there was like one other Evo player, and by the time I left there must have been 20 folk playing.

Hi maximum..glad having you down....i am the Vanessa player, people call me VO / VOSOR...i had a 25 win streak which is my best yet at a tourney but man man man...some serious players there.Its always hard to focus against Optimus, bare, dakira and them since styles are becoming distinct and diverse now. when Oda came i was all burnt out cos the competition earliar was just too tough and he basically got to da ass whippin although i did come close now and again. well anyway,we good friends and i learn alot from him,terminator (ryan) , coloumbo jackie and the rest. good set of guys.till the next can of whoop ass is opened,maybe at earls court if we goto the tourney, see you guys.interesting to see what clipse come up,ONLY tha good ones bare.TY...V

Will this tournament be run properley though? It might be pad only and in 50hz and how do they decide who is and isn't in the touney?

 

i saw columbo jacky on gamesville (tv programme) playing against a creater of VF EVO(part of the team), lol, 50Hz w/ pads, and the "creator" got bang up whilst mashing buttons with jacky claiming to know everything about the game and practicing it, lmao.. twas fun to watch..^^

regards to the vids everyone, spent all day capturing, and don't worry, i have vids of everybody's good play depending on who i am focusing on in the match.. optimus, i got your fight against odu, and i'm sure i have atleast all of the top performers doing their business. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

as for me, i sucked that day, ... lol, i could'nt hack playing with so many sticks! - optimus, kudos to your dreamcast stick, but you and others seem to use it better than me (i can't even use it for VF3 no more, lol), i'm a prisoner to namco sticks now i'm afraid,.. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

P.S - kudos to RS's Goh, stick with it and learn his staple combos for dealing more damage, it's the only gap i can see right now... stalwartzsamurai - nice shun, cheeky stuff there..., ^^

You played really well man. So well that I started dreading when my turn came to face you! It looked like Odu came in at the right time to cane you after your huge streak, although he did play an awesome Akira.

Yea, Optimus is also a fine player. His wolf was really decent and his Aio looked dangerous with lots of G-cancells being employed to great effect.

Now that I think of it the only characters I fought against were your Vanessa and Wolf. There seemed to be a large number of Wolfs on display.

 

That was Saurian. And yes that was amazing play by him to brake that win streak.

 

LOL I see you caught the episode I was on, UK-Guy hooked me up with it for some strange reason /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif as you can see i'm not a TV person but it was fun, I have to apologise for the poor standerd of play but i've never used pad before, so the play was a bit basic up untill the point where I threw the last game /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif that's when I started to get used to playing on pads.
