geeh, I just don't remember anymore....

If not N. Korea, maybe Libya, it's not like they haven't got enough to choose from. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Hehe...perhaps we should try and find a pattern for his invasions! I dunno, alphabetical order maybe? Starting with Afghanistan of course!

It's totally disgusting. WMD theory out of the window (what, you mean they're still looking for them?), don't know about Bin Laden (though I bet Bush does...heck, he's probably got another summer holiday planned with him in Saudi Arabia!) and as for Saddam Hussain, well, since when does anyone try and kill their partner in crime?

What do you mean Hussain is an enemy of the state? He's the US's best buddy! He gets them excuses to invade wherever they want! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I even have nagging suspicions about 9/11. If (and this is a big IF) it was infact the US government that assisted in the hijackings (c'mon, why else would the hijackers names have been deleted off the passenger manifests, and the most important people who were flying that day were given calls not to fly...and when they refused becasuse no reason was given, they were pulled out ayway and their flights were cancelled) this is the sickest, most deplorable conspiracy since...well...the last one.

i expect shit-loads of argument agains this, but please go ahead. The internet is the only forum for free speech humanity has left (thoughif certain members here are anything to go by, even that is rapidly deteriorating). /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I won't bet on N. Korea being next since China is so close. China would bury korea first before the U.S. would ever left a finger to solve the nuke issue since there is no benefit behind it. Iran is more likely the next target and other middle east country. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Besides Bush is driven by greedy first and prejudice second. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Actually, I saw a serious documentary, which said that Bush (the person, not foremost the president) has interests in the same oil company as Bin Laden (who coincidently owns it (I think, don't remember so clear)), so it's not all that surprising they never found him(!).

If possible could you show your sources for the stuff about it (11/9) being planned by Americans? Sounds kinda fishy if you ask me.

I've lost all hope for Asian nations ever saying anything rational, or doing anything that they say. China is a nightmare waiting to happen, as is N. Korea. I still think they both talk a lot more shit than they're willing to do. Japan, cant' do anything militarily, but they're the epitome of not doing anything. This is the "crime-free" country, yet I can walk 10 minutes from my house, buy any number of narcotics and get two (yes two) consecutive head-pops for $75 --- at the same fucking corner.

I'm just not sure what's worse. A country that says stuff and does nothing, or a country that just attacks everyone else.

Yeup, and N. Korea doesn't have jack shit. Makes you think about that saying. "Your fiercest enemy is the one with nothing to lose."

you'd be surprised at how rational filipinos are /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif. its really our government that screws everything up... so i guess we're the other type of asian... the ones who dont do anything /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. but weve overthrown a few governments here and there...

PS. u could really do that in Japan?
PSS. Bush hates too much. thats why i dont like him. dont hate.

Well GP, I do agree with u on the part of China talking shit and not backing it up most of the time when it comes to the White Boys with the big Nukes. But in the case of Korea, Taiwan and Japan it's all good since these are fellow chinks and either have very little nukes or non at all. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So if N. Korea decides to act out it's frustrations, I'd highly doubt China would just sit back. China would be itching to take the opportunity to gave a good Asian beat down and at the same show everyone in the world who's the Biggest Asian in the house. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    Quick Points:

*VF players are liberal on the whole. This is because they think. If they didn't think, they would blindly wave flags and play Mortal Kombat. (I do think that Creed and especially Mr. Bungle harbor some nationalist beliefs, however. Correct me if I'm wrong.) When you question, and have the faculties to question, you will arrive at different conclusions than most people. Probably not that many VF players like Garth Brooks either, for example.

    * The political problems in America are not just due to polarization. The problem is that what passes for the center is actually frighteningly far to the right. Even during the Clinton years, rich people and corporations made ridiculous bling-bling while working people may have had steady employment, but were still more likely to have no savings or be in debt. Just look at the minimum wage! A travesty! And no national healthcare. We are about the only 1st world country that can say that. So uh, what are we number one at? Basketball? Ok. USA USA USA USA!!!!!!!!

    * Bush really isn't smart. Everything he does is scripted. Can you remember the last press conference he held? No? That is because he can't answer questions because they are hard. Why hold press conferences when the corporate media will dutifully play your insipid sound bites taken from speeches given to various beneficiaries of this or that policy? I suppose some of Dubya's handlers and strategists are smart in a completely amoral, machiavellian way. That earns them, not begrudging respect, but sneering disdain and contempt.

    * What the fuck is wrong with China? How about self determination for Taiwan and Tibet? China is no longer Communist, people. They are more and more closely resembling a fascist state. Crony capitalism plus belligerent nationalism plus agressive militarism plus Authoritarianism sounds kind of Fascist, eh? But whoa, wait a second that sort of describes my country too. Tibet and Iraq: The denial of a people's right to self-determination, the looting of a weaker nation's resources, the brutal supression of resistance... At least there is still some free speech and toleration of dissent in America, but...

    * The media did not do its job before the war. If they had there would be no war. To recap:

    NO WMD!

NO PROVEN OR LIKELY IRAQI LINK TO 9/11!

A war based on lies. Bush should be impeached and put in jail for war crimes. What is more serious than invading another nation for no good goddamn reason? Other members of his administration like Elliot Abrams and John Poindexter could probably give him tips on how to survive behind bars since they have spent some time there. Wake up America!

And to think that Clinton got impeached for accepting fattie fellatio!

ehehe I'm a flaming liberal, except on some issues (if I recall correctly being pro death penalty is the conservative/republican stance). But anyway, I think it's unfair to say VF players are mostly liberal. You can say some things without researching them... like "VF players are mostly young" (nobody was playing video games 40 years ago so that's safe to say).

I don't think you can say "most VF players are liberal" without some research though... I see all sorts of conservative VF players here. On this board I've seen some of the worst hallmarks of extreme conservatism - homophobia, racism, sexism, pro-war propaganda, and "conservative christianity" for lack of a better term. For every obviously dumbassed far right poster there are probably a dozen "right leaning" posters.

I do think that Creed and especially Mr. Bungle harbor some nationalist beliefs, however. Correct me if I'm wrong

Not sure where that came from... I know mister bungle has jumped in with political stuff but I tend to avoid it mostly. If by nationalist beliefs you mean jingoistic pro-america rah rah stuff, that's totally wrong.

If you mean I believe some nations do things better than other nations, and that america could improve in many areas like foreign policy or health care reform or gun laws or the educational system... well yeah. Duh. But I don't mouth off about it much. I'm ready to shoot myself for even mentioning gun control, doh.

One day at school one of the teachers in the teacher's room asked me "What do you think is the biggest problem in America?" I thought for a bit and answered "President Bush." Another English teacher a few desks over started laughing. It was funny, but the sad thing is I couldn't think of any 1 problem that would be greater than Bush.

Like for example, taking America to war with Iraq was a good way to piss everyone off. Way to go ignoring the United Nations and all.

I'm in total unison with the Flow-meister right here.

Check this site out people...have a thorough look through it. Believe what you will. Reject what you want.

Also, I strongly suggest looking up one of the most accomplished linguists in history...and he's still alive. A man known as Noam Chomsky.

    Happy hunting.

The fact that people like William Cooper and David Icke are linked to/referred to on that website almost completely destroys the almost non-existent credibility that remains after digesting its completely unsubstantiated claims.

Cooper is a liar and a fraud extrordinaire as detailed by numerous whistleblowing investigations. For example: Cooper claims that an injury to his leg was sustained while being purused by CIA agents in unmarked, black vehicles. Subsequent investigations revealed that he actually hurt his leg in a drunk driving accident for which he was fully responsible. This story is but one of many regarding Cooper's antics.

As for David Icke, click his link. Any semi-intelligent person can easily discern why references to Icke are unforgivably laughable. The British royal family are actually all "reptilian aliens" bent on world domination? Really... What complete garbage.

I cannot stress the importance of checking and verifying sources. Especially when dealing with the sort of ridiculous material that sites like that distribute.

I have to ask, Max... and don't take this the wrong way, I am merely curious... Do you make the effort to validate what any of these sites are saying through investigation/research on your own? I simply cannot see how anyone who does the research can come out thinking that there is anything to the "NWO" the "Illuminati" or any of the other similarly contrived conspiracy theories that are out there.
