I don't even know what to think of it. I cannot stand how it is presented in such a hoaky fashion, I feel it paints an improper picture of the 'scene' and while money is a big thing and we all like it, why does there have to be so much emphasis on it?

Like quick, throw as much cash to give this game/tournament/organization credibility.

When the whole thing is presented in such a way that that shows just how f-up our culture is, it makes me feel like not playin anymore. It felt like a total mind control program to keep folks glued to their virtual world so that they grow ever subservient by contrling what you desire. It had all the elements. The hot girl, the money, the mediocre game that gives instant gratification, that american arrogant attitude that is very well portrayed in hiphop videos. Even the place stank with propaganda. There was no emphasis on skill, it was all pompous and stupid. Thnk God it wasn't VF shown like that. The WHOLE THING WASN'T ABOUT DOA. The whole affair is sick and stinks of repression. It is desinged to portray an artificial lifestyle with conformist mediocrity due to the fact that u WILL desire all they show you. So that it becomes the object of your worship. If you think Im wrong you need to look out more. Dont confuse that show with the communal vibe in VF gatherings.

Wow that literally was disgusting to watch. If that is what the DOA community is like and what the big money tournaments are like. Thank god I stopped playing that garbage after the DC version. I haven't seen doa in awhile, that crap made me want to vomit out my ass. Someone tell Itagaki or whatever his name is to stop shitting on this fighting gen. PLEASE STOP MAKING FIGHTING GAMES!!!

No offense, but a lot of you sound like nerds who're angry becasue you can't sit at the cool table. This televised tournament will obviously draw people to DOA because it's on TV. If we want VF to become much more popular we have to consider all possibilities. Even if it means 'sellin' out' to a conformist society that only wants drive our desire to by into a artificial lifestyle and buy a product.(The latter wouldn't be all that bad for VF, considering it's sales in the U.S.)
