Whenever I play games I usually listen to Disturbed or Metallica.

 

For systems such as xbox 360 and I think PS3 which have the custom soundtrack feature where u can replace any video game's in-game music with that of ur own mp3 files, what music do u listen to while pwning or kicking ur opponent's a$$?

And I had used the search engine to see if there's already a topic about this and I didn't see anything like this, I used the words,"custom music". If I had overlooked a topic already about this, I apologize and the adm.s can fuse this topic into the other if they choose to. Just wanted to make that clear since I have a bad habit of creating occasional duplicate topics I didn't know already existed.

Allrighty then, let's start the chit chat, shall we?

 

I usually listen to video game music such as from RPG's (Final Fantasy, Xenosaga), fighting games (VF, [obviously], Dead or Alive, Tekken, Street Fighter), other game series such as Sonic like Sonic 2006, Sonic CD, Sonic Adventure 1+2, Sonic Heroes.

If u guys didn't know or realized, video game music usually are representations of either stages, characters, or events. Like when u have a winter-themed stage, the music is like xmas music or something.

I do have other music such as Coldplay, U2, some dance and trance music, some rock like The Offspring, a few others.

 

Lately, whenever I play Tekken 6 and go online, I've been listening to the Aquarium theme from Bloody Roar 2 on loop, I don't know how many of u guys have played that series or at least remember it, the music was so-so but I think that aforementioned theme is the most decent in the 2nd game. I also have music from Parasite EVE, mainly the first one since that has a great soundtrack if any of u guys have ever listened to it.

 

it depends for me. if i m playing just to relax i listen to greatful dead. if i m down and feel like feeding the blues i go world gone wrong by bob dylan.

but if i am power practicing to improve a skill like eteg or stepping, i like something faster and more intense, usually NIN. to play at my best i will either listen to NIN and the vf5 game, or just the vf game.

When playing fighting games, I do not mind the BGM. When I play shooters online, I do not like to listen to anything, so I can listen to footsteps, gun sounds, and other positioning sounds.
