What TV shows are you watching now?

NFL FOOTBALL.
I don't have enough time to workout, play pool, and VF5 all as i would want in a given day. Tv went out the window about 3 months before a decent sleep schedule.

 

Insane amount of porn on loop with a 2nd TV looping Heroes season 3 premier. I start watching after I get off work and continue until I pass out.

 

i am watching NFL all day sunday, i am watching Heroes, but after the season premier. the new writers suck, and so does the show now, so i dont think i will watch it now. I like to watch Life on NBC. and that is about all i watch on TV. i jsut started watching Stargate Atlantis which is an awesome show. and i just downloaded Tales of the Golden Monkey (80's show that is awesome). other then that not much else i watch. i will watch Lost when that comes back on. i am always a big fan of the 80's saturday morning cartoons. love watching them on dvd. ahhh good memories of waking up at 6am and watching 4 hrs of cartoons. good times.

Another sniper in the 2nd Gig? What the heck, isn't Saito enough for them? More hackers? But, but, Ishikawa, *snf. Getting used to the Tachikoma's replacing the Fuchikoma's was hard enough and now you're telling me I'm in for more? Oh dear.

Recently managed to get my hands on the English DVD's of both SAC seasons as the stuff isn't aired or released over here. got the lot of it except for Solid State Society. Manga in Euro oversized and US comic size versions, these new halfsize books make me sad, especially with Shirow's elaborate backgrounds often stealing the show, you can't shrink those images. I watched the first disc of the 2nd Gig last week. The change in animation if you see the final of season 1 and the start of season 2 directly after each other is jarring.

Fave episode so far is probably 'Chat Chat Chat' because of the sheer balls for creating an episode around a chatroom conversation in Shirow's signature dense style and the inclusion of Motoko's Chroma body from Man Machine Interface.

I'm actually fairly certain saito isn't in the 1st gig. If he is he is very minimal while in the 2nd gig all the other guys become a lot more important. The 1st season is more about bato, makoto, the "human guy" forget his name, and the old man.

I don't recall Ishkawa being in the 1st gig but I could be very mistake on that one, but in the 2nd gig he has the new guy that fat dude who's bald who helps him out too.

 

Aramaki, Motoko, Batou, Togusa (the human, he rules), Ishikawa, Saito (the one-eyed sniper), Boma (the bald guy) and Pazu (now there's a character you see little of) are all present in the first season. I'm up to ep 12 in the 2nd gig now and Togusa is still the last recruit, which they go into quite a bit of detail on.

Saito was in view quite a bit in the first season (he levels a huge rifle on the mechtank in episode 2). It's true Boma gets a lot more screentime in the 2nd but he was definately around. Pazu is as anonymous as ever in both (he dies in the first issue of the manga as well I believe). Ishikawa was always the most present of the 'secondary four'.

Ah, two new recruits, Yano and Azuma.

I'll stop looking further into this before I get spoilered to hell.

 

anyone watching "my own worse enemy"? I watched the Pilot and so far, I like the premise. But we will see.
