What's the very first video game you EVER played? (arcade included)

Thanks. Made me start thinking of a lot of classics too. I can't remember whether it was Atari or an arcade game. I just remember wanting to get to the arcade after school. You mentioned space invaders. Good game. Remember Defender and Asteroids?

 

Hmm, I think it was Kangaroo on the Atari 2600...

Well, it doesn't have to be the first game you touched. Just the first game you have vivid memories of. Like I said earlier, Asteroids and Defender are the first two games that I vividly remember wanting to play in the arcade. That's kinda what I meant. You know you can still play the classics online. If anyone wants to check a few out, lemme know.

Arcade : Donkey Kong
NES : Mario Bros
Genesis : Golden Axe
SNES : Final Fight
NeoGeo : The Magician Lord (really love this game)
PS : Theme Park
PC : Blade Runner
PS2 or Xbox : ? Have not decided on which console to get..probably will go for PS2 b'cause of Evo! /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

I think it was probably a boxing game in the Atari 2600 with blue background, and black&white for the two players...

It was Pac-Man at a Pizza Parlor's arcade, circa 1985. My parents then bought me an Atari 5200 so I could play it at home.

I remember I saw Jungle Hunt on the Atari 2600 at a cousin's house, don't remember if I actually played it, bur if I did I'm sure I sucked.

Hmmm, first game? Well, I was about 3 or 4 and I played Super Mario Bros. at my cousins house...I remember them starting me off in a boss stage, so I'd die quicker...

The first game I played was either Super Mario on NES or Odell Lake in 2nd grade on the Apple 2e I think it was.
The first game I played hardcore was SF2 SE on Genesis though.

Duck Hunt, and then Mario ;o. I distincly remember me beeing very little, and my friends playing the game good, and me sucking ;O.

Duckhunt but the first game I played seriously was Virtual On.
