hey VO, how was mark's play that evening? (the_wall) i had to leave as soon as he arrived, and i haven't really seen his latest EVO play yet..

mark, if ur reading, how did it go? did u do any good against ryan?

with all due respect barenknuckle,i came in 5 mins or so before you.also,even if i bought you a round trip to dubai and threw in the green book and DVD and then came a week after to let you practice i would still have issued the same punishment to your wolf,lei fei and lion. I only did that since you said 45% so i had to show you the agony of pure da feet (vanessa`s feet that is) anyway,at least you won 1 game so that was good right? also, mark did good against tha heads,won some very good matches.

to clarify why i was talkin about warmth,i was replying this excuse for a 9-1 defeat session:

9 - 1? ok, lets not cross the border, there's no way i'd spend £5 trying to defeat you, be real...

2 credits i lost, and with the third, i won (twice i used wolf)... anywayz, i'm no head, just a reg if i were to forward a challenge i'd lose my confidence under pressure and get battered (i'm like that) so i'm not gonna say anything furthur...

in my translation of 45%, it is a ratio of under half (i'll say 40-35ish% for argument sake), so i'd win leik 1 out of 4-5ish matches which is exactly what happened did it not?... .

 

Well i doubht i'll be there this weekend need a little bit of a break, but i will probably be there week after. Trying to save a little cash u c.

I thought Ryan was too obvious to mention. I gave Ryan 1 go. To be honest I was kind of pissed at being made to wait all that time for a go that's why I played the other machine. I wasn't aware that the system changed from the list to put your money down,I was still waiting for my name to be called......

VO---Oh mighty Goh enforcer is a bit over the top /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif my Goh is nowhere near as good as my Aoi was or maybe still is.....

 

i agree with u A_A, besides, this weekend is for da SSBM /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

i suppose next week i'll go also, ... i guess i need to really practice more often on EVO.

wow angel from wot ive been hearing ur becoming a bit of an expert pai player. I think i need to get a few pointers from u as i need to learn some new tactics. Any tips mate. I have a habit of of using low punch to often and side dodging is just a no no. Hard to get to grips with. Only been tp play 2 win 2 times the last past 2 weeks. Saving money for holiday.

 

Lol, whos been telling you that. /versus/images/icons/shocked.gif Wow someone actually wants to know my tactics (thats new), sorry to disappoint u my man i dont actaully have any u just gotta deal with what ever you opponant tries to throw at u. If your dodging is weak ,it just needs practicing with nothing much else u can do about it. Low punching is used by everybody no matter what character they are, it's especially good with pai cause i think she's got the fastest jab in the game, but try not to overdo it against people with powerfull low throws like jeffery and wolf. Last piece of advice is be original i think that always works the best, makes u less predictable. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

i aint a pai expert, but i know a fair bit about the way she works..

pai tactics:

~ yes, pai's got the fastest jab in the game (11 frames as apposed to the average 12), so the best thing to do is to intimmidate and use it to force your opponent into a defense mode, normally, it's a great tool for setting up a counter FC,f+p (lifting hands) by playing a jabing game with the opponent, most players use a series like pg,pg ~ lifting hands or throw (pg meaning to cancel the second punch of a p,p,p string), then a combo of your choice is open to you of you chose to launch, or the second option is that the opponent will stay blocking for a while waiting for a safe window to attack or a counterable situation, then you can land a throw on them and catch them off guard.. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

~use pai's uf+k as a part of your attack series, it's a great hoping tool for low jabs, and is not counterable / throwable, so a good thing to do is a low punch ~ throw / rising hands.

~ use pai's b+p+k+g ~ low sweep for evading and striking, to catch opponents out, you can delay the time abit to spring out a low sweep and play on people's timing.

~the best three throws to pull out on people is her b,d+p+g (then anything you want), df+p+g (then preferably a uf+k,k),.... and the three-quater-circle throw, they are less likely to be escaped.. mix them up real good too..

~if you are having trouble with evading, .... practice /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

Are angels pai is very strong now after lots and lots of training. He's doing very well against top players from P2W.

As for me, I'm still no where as good as BK or are angel for they can kain me, lol. But it's all good until I get EVO on the PS2! then the training will BEGIN!!!

And since Akira is a monster in EVO, I'll be training with him too /versus/images/icons/cool.gif . I'm already training with him as is Lion as I'll always use that guy. And when I get EVO, Van might get some practise once again.

 

Whats with all the complements?

 

thx for the tips bare but i do all that stuff already, but need more variety.i attack alot more now but dunno if im improving or not. Dodging is a pain and escaping throws. I can dodge by pressing up or down twice but a single one is a bit tohard for me. Still lose against playing pia players i should of beat dunno why.Maybe i got a complex fighting my pai. Also reversing alot better.
I always lose against this champion kage player but managed to reverse him twice in a game and thats like friggen hard cus hes all over u with his moves.

 

when u guys next at play 2 win. Ill probably be there on friday and hope to test angels new improved pai.
Lets show the others how great p[ai really is.

 

one last question to angel have u pulled of pais , air juggle involving crouch dashing with bare knuckle suggested it before. ive tried it out before but can only pull of +, (dash),, , ,. Only works on light weights and i think has to counter so they juggle higher. Have u made out nay new juggles yet or u sticking to the good ole combos.
