Who's your vf hero? (ex.chibita, shu)

ShinZ, Moonsuk, Chibita, and that's it.

 

My hero is Llanfair! /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

 

Granted there are a lot of sick players out there but these are ones that stand out in my mind:

Mukki: This dude makes Akira look like a demon (an evil, evil man).

Napoleon: Sure his victory over Segaru was ugly but don't sleep on this dude's skill. This boy knows how to get in your head and start tearin' shit up.

ShinZ: This kid is a true VF pimp displaying crazy skills with a whole array of characters. Combos+Movement+Mindgames=Big Pimpin'.

Chibita: Young VF God in action, Chibita is a beast. How fortunate for Lion a player of his calibur choose him as his favorite. His set-ups and patterns just maximize effectiveness and are just plain genius. I'm not going to mention Chibita has displayed the craziest yomi levels I've probably ever seen.

Kysao: How ironic my favorite player plays the character I hate the most in VF but Kysao is a fool sho nuff. This guy has more style in his pinky then 10 players combined (not counting his C-Chap homies who also have ridiculous style). When he gets into the zone he's gonna kill you and make you look dumb to boot. Kysao's game makes VF look like art.

While Heruru's got a good Lei Fei, I think Muko Youshi's is better (ICe -- you saw him... the guy you fought w/). He's even got more vicious in Evo. It's amazing to watch. And on that note, I think Joe has an even better Lei Fei, but it's a close match.

heh, ... well i'm ranked 1st position now at dynamic-league (yesh, above ryan heart) so anyone who wan't mai beef, come n' get it.. my wolf will be happy to welcome a challenge.. XD

and my hero?... err... mai big bro "divine_visitor" (or "grey machine" at DL) ^_^ his shun is the only one i have difficulties with.

I don't have per say "heroes" but guys i have the most respect for are ShinZ and the one you all know bare_knuckle93. bare_knuckle93 was my reason for using Akira. Back at the IGN boards when i was trying to come back to VF after pretty much almost dropping it, BK gave me insight on the VF ins and outs(in exchange for me helping him out with Tekken) and I watched a small movie clip of my boy bare_knuckle93 using Akira and said "i'm dropping Shun, Akira will be my choice" and from there on Akira is my best player. Watching various movies of ShinZ helped me refine my Akira after BK influenced me to use him.

I will not talk about the expert players that we all know. I will instead mention Chura-Lei Fei (Who I didn't know about before, but I am assuming he is also hight up there) from the Vstage6 tourney you capped Gaijinpunch. He was just amazing really. Is he also in the Vstage 7 you are ripping? /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

Yeah I'm a dork, I dropped him but My brother picked him up!! My brother picked him up pretty quick suprisingly and his Shun rivals my Akira, but my bro was always good at picking up confusing characters in every game he plays. He always prefers characters with multitudes of attacks that he can use for mind games.

I felt guilty for completely dropping shun cuz I realized how much of a great character I dropped but I'm gonna get him to teach me Shun since he learned him good and quick and didn't even come to grips with him.

heh, i know how you feel. VF4 akira doesn't get me hyped like he did in 3tb. He still remains my favorite but i've picked up Lei Fei for when i get tired of Akira.

 

When I first started playing I was under the retarded impression a good player had to learn one character FULLY and then move on. I've turned completely on that, since it's almost necessary to get at least a basic grip on most if not all of them. Helps understand what they're capable of, what the basics are (obviously).

Despite my ring name here, I suck with Lau. I mean you can feel the wind for miles, from the sucking. I can't really say I identify with one character anymore, and in fact I'd have to fight a bunch of different-style humans to figure out who I am, in the game. I think identity is established through understanding. You guys out there bashing 87% Dans with many matches under their belts, that's understanding the game. I'm just a fan.
