    Yeah,

big bridge bomb follow ups are now non-existent in Evo, but it does 15pts. more dmg than vers. C's, and looks more devastating now too. But then again, if you wanted 75dmg in version C, all you had to do is [3][P] afterwards...

A few things regarding Wolf's roar:

I believe the the [P] follow up (chop) grants Wolf a guaranteed throw situation. Also, everytime I use the [K] follow up, I get a crumble, not a stagger; thus setting up a guaranteed pounce, or ground throw attempt. The [P]+[G] variant is nice too, but I've yet to find a use for the [P]+[K]+[G] follow up; or his [6][P]+[K] guard break in general. Is anything guaranteed after this move, or does it just give you initiative? And, does the roar only counter high punches (I could've sworn I parried mid punches with it too)?

I believe according the training, If you take P after roar, only when P scores as counter hit would give you a free normal throw, otherwise his attack will beat your throw. Also in this case, normal gs is not free, but fast gs is, (only normal throws).
In the case if you take K after roar, it will stagger on normal hit and down on counter. the way to get counter is when he try to attack again quickly after the first P has been Roared. So if Lau does d/f,P(roar),PP, you will hit counter. but if he just does d/f+p(roar) then no counter.
The best/safest after roar for me is to mashing in tripe /quad throw escape. If roar hits it will become PKG,PG, otherwise you will escape 3 or 4 throws. This could become pretty chessy against someone who tries to punch or throw you. I like this the best.

After f+pk stagger you have anywhere from +6 to +15 according to 1/60, meaning if they stagger hard, nothing is free.
roar hits mid baby.. oh yes it does.

Ahhh, so the opp. has to be doing a series of attacks for the roar follow ups to connect on a counter hit. I didn't know that. The cpu must always be doing canned combos, etc. when I use it, cause I always get the counter hit variants off against it. Good info Shang! I still don't understand the purpose of using [6][P]+[K]. What do you follow it up with? Does it just give you initiative for setting up guessing games? Are there any guaranteed follow ups?

    A few things I've noticed...

The pendulum lariat now does 45dmg instead of the 50dmg it did in ver. C. I would assume AM2 thought it would be a bit much if it stayed at 50dmg, due to the inclusion of Wolf's ground throws (another 35dmg) in Evo. Also, the toe kick/stunner seems to have gained some range. In ver. C, it seemed like you had to be a lot closer to the opp. when you did the toe kick, or else the stunner wouldn't come out; even if you didn't screw up the timing.

His catch throws seem like they've gain some range as well, and overall they seem more useful; however, they're not as damaging as his vers. C variations. All his catch throw inputs have been made weaker except for [3][P]+[G], and [4],[P]+[G] from change. Speaking of, I remember reading in the Evo moves list that [4][P]+[G] (double german suplex) did 75dmg (in Evo ver. A perhaps?). It does 70dmg, same as the tiger suplex from ver. C. Big bridge bomb does 75dmg now, compared to the 60dmg it did in ver. C, but it's actually worse in Evo, due to the fact that no follow ups are possible now.
