Yup it should be a lot of fun. I can't completely diss DOA4. I like the game and it has the potential to be good, but the holding system is just stupid. The person on the losing end gets most of the rewards. One good hold to get out of a stun and they just did the same damage you did without the work. Lame! And the stun system... Ppfft I dont even want to talk about how much they need tone that down a bit. Some characters can practilly infinitely stun you, while others struggle at getting a decent stun ride going. But the lamest thing of all is normal hits randomly stunning you when they shouldn't LOL I laugh at that one every time I see it.

Tricky! I want to play you, I just picked up Eileen in the VF demo, and you seem to know her best. I'll be getting VF5 on the first day, maybe before... (Hopefully they sell it to me at Midnight OCT 29.) But I wanna see how she plays cuz she seems interesting. I'd be playing you with Shun.

Don't forget the low reverse that gets you out of high hits and throws. For me, the extent to which the gameplay in DOA is good is the extent to which it is similar to VF.

I would think the game would be an ok online time waster if they added throw escapes and dodges and modified some of the reversal properties (execution window, damage, low reverse having defensive properties besides just reversing low hits). I guess that would basically make the game VF with multi tiered levels, universal reversals for characters, tag matches, and boobies. I think that would make it a better game...
