You have to look up the meaning of the word gay before you can determine if it's offensive or not. Some people are much too sensitive.

What a word means in one language could mean something else in another. Language is merely the sound of words spoken... though writen they mean 2 different things. It all depends on the ears that hear it.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm doing it anyway: I'm not sure how one interprets "gay" as clowning, given the dictionary definitions, unless it's meant as homosexual.

It's like you ignore what I say just to argue... anyways. The "sounds" that came out (and were pointed out in the caption) were "Kah gay" because that is how it is pronounced. It is a mere coincidence that the sound matches a meaning in the English language as "gay" or otherwise known as "silly, merry, stupid, weird, awkward, different, lively, bright... etc."

The point was to be silly. Not offensive. I hope that is understood. I did not want this to wander so far off topic of this thread. It was a GG with a bit of silliness added to it.

But in all seriousness I don't spam anything in any fighting game I play.I don't get down like that. Its not good to rely on one particular thing because when someone is denied it/the opponent shuts it down then they will be cluelesss.

And people running from me the whole round has nothing to do with me. Its because they don't know the game and they are begginners so they have nothing else.

 

I would say a good number of vets do string spamming: a string of consecutive hits or combos over and over without any variety. String spammers love to use Brad, Jacky, Lei-Fei, and Aoi (sometimes Vanessa).
