Well, I meant it more like I don't like the guy at all, so I don't feel bad, and would troll him again given that he disconnected.

I've had double pounces done to me by some Leons. It's annoying, but part of the game, so I won't be calling the whaaambulance. I've also adapted somewhat.

One guy I stopped playing with, though, just elbowed me during the whole match to win. That guy I don't play with anymore because that's just boring.

 

Yeah, definitely. Your Jeffry is getting better with each gameplay . Keep at it! It also helps me too as I get the matchup experience against him .

 

2P spamming is also part of the game and very useful against combo Gods.

 

Yeah, I was falling prey to that double guessing game...double low option to hit 2nd time or stop and low throw. I was only able to successfully fuzzy out of the low throw once or twice and then guessed wrong TE when I got caught...such an evil setup. I couldn't 'think' fast enough to just do lion's 8k low attack killer which would've stopped both options...

 

That Beginner's room last night damn! Large turnout. Yall know how to party, there are waaay to many names to mention: started at 7pm and didn't close house until like 4 am. I Got to catch up with with the old folks that I used to play back when I was EvenPit lots of fun. I'd rarely host a room, but when I do, depending on the momentum it'll be up until either everybody leaves/rages, falls asleep, and/or I die. GGS

 

You know how to host a room, that's good . You got the movers and shakers coming through and just having a good time , it was fun. I can't wait for tomorrow.

Banrakyu (sorry if I mispelled it), C Money (you're okay, but sorry, I don't think you are a true StormLord), Slapguy (sorry, I forgot your name), SF 3rd Strike, and Marcelo Barkfog or whatever his name is. It's so weird how well your noob tactics work. I don't expect someone to keep using Pai's low kick to round house after I stopped it 10 times, but then you keep doing it. Totally unexpected. :\

Maybe I can join Even's room next time...I need some good VF therapy. Today's games while uneventful with pullers and trash talk just weren't what I need for Saturday.

Good stuff from some of the best players I've played so far. They give me a reason to keep pushing myself in this game and I'm glad for it .

 

I was up way too late playing VF last night... Had a lot of fun, GGs to everyone I played. Special mention to Cozby, great Sarah man.

If you lost to an opponent who did elbow the whole match, that is YOUR fault. Not your opponents. I have beaten so many plays just by doing elbow. Thats my opponents fault because they didnt know better. So if thats all i need to win a match, Thats all im going to do. plain and simple. Learn to play better

That isnt doing whatever it takes to win, That is doing what my opponent cant beat to win. BIG difference

 

I don't care whose fault you think it is. Even if I had been able to win, it would've been boring for me. It's my prerogative to decide what type of player I'll play with.

Also, please leave me out of whatever beef you have with each other.

 

New players make me sad. Instead of learning how to play better you would rather ignore the advice of an experienced player. Very saddening

In Keoma's defense, he did start a thread to ask for help dealing with exactly this issue. I don't think its unreasonable that he'd rather not lose to that sort of play until he'd learned how to beat it.

how the hell do you learn how to beat something if you dont expose yourself to it? Wave a magic wand? You need to expose yourself to things you arent comfortable with or things you might deem "boring" in order to learn how to deal with it.

When I first started playing VF chief flash uses wolfs catch grab over and over until I started countering it. Was it boring? damn right it was but it was more frustrating for me not to be able to deal with it. So i fought him until i could beat that strat and beat him. But not everyone is like me i guess...

They have this thing called the Dojo in FS. You can go in there and set up the bots to do the moves you want to practice against.
