had some damn good matches today. GGS to GunSniper Ls, ERF MAN 00, BLKxSEPTEMBER aka DEExTHAxGEE, C Money012, and loki jih. C Money012, that 1on1 session we had was dope! I really appreciate it

 

None, feels like I just spent two hours looking at the god damn menu screen, you got to be part of a god damn click to find a match in this game. People can bash doa2u and doa 4 all they like (the games aren't balanced very well) But as far as I'm concerned they where the only fighting games to get the online lobby system right, and they had to go fuck it up in doa five. I mean what the fuck wrong with the fighting games genre? Why can't I play ranked lobby matches with my friends? Why the fuck are you splitting your fan base between ranked player and room matches. Why the fuck would you split your fan base up between a bazillion games coming out only a year apart from one another. Where the fuck is the common fucking sense I can't fucking take it anymore I'm ready throw my 360 away and hook up my god damn dreamcast....FUCK VIDEOGAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah, it's not like Capcom stuff, or (I imagine) Namco fighters online. You'll have to look around here a bit, and try to add as many tags near to you as possible, maybe even sort out what times of day are best to catch people...
There's no real clique per se, but people do want to fight good connections, that don't spike or lag, and some of the top players aren't gonna hang around long beating someone who can barely play it.
Live ranked was always small scale, the last two years. This year, well, I haven't even logged on yet, but frankly I'm not looking forward to it if no one's about. I don't know where you are based, but if it's the east side of America, or Europe, maybe we could get some games in?

Keep at it man. I appreciate it can seem like there's nothing out there, if you only recently downloaded it. The earlier version (VF5) was even more empty after the initial hype. Nature of the beast I'm afraid.

 

Time of the day matters. Most of us are working/schooling during the day...plus you have to factor in the time zones. We're here...use the Worldwide ranked lobby and the Local Room lobby.

 

Great games early this morning with Oblivions (AO/TA), Swank (KA) and Slop (EI), all North American players, two of whom I've never encountered before. Good shit, some tough Eileen play there, in the red Chinese dress, had me on the run, and that Taka, wow, he won't fall down! Haven't played since last year, forgot how strict some of the button presses are within certain sequences, heh. Might have to get a new stick set-up I reckon. Thanks for playing everyone over a couple of hours, nice to be back in the VF saddle, hammering those 3 buttons

When you used Eileen I noticed you use that mixup when I tec rolled. I trademarked dat! I hav a habit of sidestepping on wakeup tho so that was good cause thats exactly whats its for.

Really the only time i use that mix up. I should try using it sometime in the middle of my attacks. Maybe we could have some mirror matches again sometime ^_^
