Good games also to Rare Entity: Nice blaze stuff dude. I had to adjust to a few things because i couldnt punish some of the stuff that you were doing properly so I just changed how i approached you. We should play more though i need more blaze exp for sure! Thanks for the games guys

Lol, i warned you in shoutbox that my sole purpose in playing is to use all my unused moves. I generally play a very pokey pai using what i consider to be her strongest options and combos. I'm constantly trying to work more moves into my arsenal, but then i get into live play and fall back on what i always do.

So today, I wrote done a list of moves that are under used or never used, and played with only those moves. Lol, jab is one of the moves i always use Thus, i was not allowed to use it today. Obviously, i had some mis-inputs and some habit taps that caused me to use common moves.

But for the most part, i was working with only the 10 moves i had on my list, and set-ups/combos off of those.

This is why your rushdown aggressive wolf with all the expected traps wrecked me, lol. Its also why i was to darn hesitant on those side turns.

(and by expected traps, i don't mean that as an insult at all. charged chop, sidekick on wake up, overhand to punish low rising....by expected traps i mean good, quality, strong play.)

 

I dont take offense, It is expected lol. I only use like 4 moves with wolf and 3 of them happen to be throw LOL. We should def play again though. By then im sure you will be more confident in your game

That was an awesome series we had earlier today. My Akira experience was lacking before but I learned one valuable lesson after our series: Akira's SPoD hurts like all get out.

GGs tin tin. SMB uses pai, i use goh. Also i use lei, but very rarely since i've only practiced his launcher combo (probably can't hit it again already) but not really any oki or wall combos at all. Kinda holding him in my back pocket til i get better defense. If i start dancing around the ring with lei i'll never block haha.

well, i went to rank and found the major failing of VF. i just wanted to rank up to hunter and start bustin asses. Unfourtunately the lowest rank opponent i could find is warrior. I ranked up to 1st kyu or dan playin high ranked players, but it was stupid. Need to re-instigate some rank search. It sucks beating an assassin to rank up 1/10th a bar to 5th kyu..broke.

 

Not really. I consider the lowest rank in the game is Hunter (I think Hunter it is. The rank after 10th dan. My console language is Japanese, so ranks are showing up in Japanese when I play the game.) The reasons I think Hunter is the lowest rank are...1, you won't get demote while you are kyu or dan (well pretty much. It's hard to demote when you are dan ranks unless you lose against same rank tons of times) and 2, I would say everyone can rank up to Hunter if you just keep playing.

So keep playing. You'll reach to Hunter rank pretty soon. It didn't take me even 100 matches to get Hunter rank.

yeah i consider hunter to the lowest 'real' rank too. Which is why i want to hurry up and get there so i can really play ranked. That's why i said i just wanted to rank up to hunter in post #1114. It's like this kyu/dan stuff is just a worthless time sink.

An average evening on there for me is to beat a few Shatterers and Guardians, and go up to Raider, then a few matches later, get zonked down to Hunter again by all the new random Kyu players, who already seemingly know the game inside out (could be 2nd accounts I guess, but on Live you can't just keep name-changing).

To keep levelling up, you'd have to be really dominating at this with your chosen char, and if you're relatively low ranked and take out like a Tigerclaw (good luck with that), that'll probably shoot the bar right up (which displays briefly at the end of the match).

Anyhow, GGs like 10 hours ago to ONE HIT AAA - nice tussle back and forth versus Goh, which I think involved a few demotions and promotions as described above

 

Yup, good gal clash! You'd think playing as Pai, I'd know how and when to reverse her using Aoi, but nope, still seemed to spend most of the time in the air, zut alors hehe
