-Unlocking the spiky punk hairdo to use for a mod in the recently released ModNation Racers and coloring it yellow makes you want to create Jacky.
-Certain skins in said game above makes you want to create Dural.
-Ponytail hairdos make you want to create Sarah or Wolf. Also, wrestling attire after you've unlocked it makes you want to create Wolf.
-In NASCAR 09, you set your online quote to one of Virtua Fighter's (e.g. "Come back again in about a year, eh?" - one of Wolf's quotes from VF2).
-You listen to Caribbean music and think of Jeffry.
-You play Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion for the N64 just to get to the lab stage and in one of the rooms you think you're seeing Dural's stage from VF2.
-You notice a beat in some songs that sound eerily similar to VF stage music.
-You watch One Tree Hill on the WB/CW in the U.S. and see James Lafferty as Nathan Scott throwing a punch at a bad guy and you think of Brad from VF4 and 5 when you press one of the shoulder buttons on your PS2, PS3 or X360.
-You watch NCIS on CBS in the U.S. and see Cote de Pablo as Ziva David fighting a bad guy and you think of Vanessa from VF4 and 5.
-You watch 90210 on the CW in the U.S. and see Jessica Stroup as Erin Silver or AnnaLynne McCord as Naomi Clark talking trash and you suddenly think of Sarah's quotes from VF2 to 4.
-You watch American Idol or other shows to see if anyone has a hairstyle similar to a VF character.
-You play various fighting games and when your opponent is lying on his/her back, you repeatedly press up + an action button to add insult to injury.

About my case...well...is OK
'when you plan to buy a console, a ultra expensive despite used and no more produced controller, and pay for monthly/annual inter-player game linking subscription because one certain game. And, oh! You have to buy the game itself too!'

Is it OK or it's pretty much normal around here?

If not...when you accept the challenge of a vanglorious long time VF fanboy(who sells games and consoles) just for being totally whipped out in the front of everyone in the store

HA! A guy who probaly play in every gaming plataform existent against a me, who relatively recently owned my own VF4 Evo

And you know you're not playing VF enough when you constantly get your ass kicked by kyu level AI opponants because you keep pressing "A" to block.

Weird, coz I too haven't changed the controler layout for either game and for me block is "A" in SC5 and "X" and VF5.

Unless I changed it and don't remember. But that's highly unlikely because I almost never change the button configuration for any game.

Edit - I checked the manuals for both games and I was right. The default controls are "A" to block in SC5 and "X" to block in VF5. You must have changed something.
