Virtua Fighter returned to Evo for the second year running with another fantastic tournament, drawing competitors from the four corners of the globe to compete at fighting game's biggest show. The competition was fierce, but the rivalries friendly as old and new friends alike caught up to share the love of Virtua Fighter.
The first of two major tournaments for Virtua Fighter this summer, Defend the North saw a fantastic turnout of players old and new. Jump in for videos, results and shoutouts!

Fighting game players from around the country met in Chicago on the weekend for the annual Combo Breaker tournament. Amongst the many games on offer this year was Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown! The first Virtua Fighter tournament at a Combo Breaker, in fact! Special thanks to @FeliciaPrower for putting the tournament together, with 22 players entering the bracket.

The 17th VFR Beat-Tribe Cup took place on Saturday 23 March 2019 in Tokyo, Japan in collaboration with Toushinsai and was streamed live via their Twitch channel.
