[​IMG] The series of VF5FS tournaments at San Francisco's Southtown Arcade (STA) comes to an end with the 4th tournament to be streamed on Iplaywinner, June 15, 2012. The tournament and stream is expected to start around 7 PM PST.

SEGA will be providing posters and t-shirts signed by Chibita and Fuudo for top placers and unsigned posters for participants (See Iplaywinner Original Story). For more details to this series of events, please check the South Town Arcade VF5FS Tournament Series Thread.

[​IMG]Originally reported on the AM Console Development Team's twitter, sales for VF5FS console have exceeded targets set for the Japanese market just a week after release.

This is great news for fans who can only play the game on console as commercial success may pave the way for future opportunities within the console market.

Level|Up Live will be hosting a VF5FS tourney on their regular occurring Wednesday Night Fights (WNF) series on June 13th. This will be at the Super Arcade in Walnut, California with the tourney to start ~ 9 PM PST. Casuals start at 7 PM PST. $5 to get in. $5 to enter tournament.

Note: VF5:FS is played on PS3 at WNF. Bring compatible sticks or pads.

If you live in the greater Los Angeles area, go meet fellow VF enthusiasts and celebrate having VF5:FS on console and at WNF by visiting the Super Arcade!

[​IMG] This month 5on5 VFR Cup, the Hamaotsu Cup, will be in the Kansai region of Japan. 190 players (38 teams) will participate in the event. What is unique about this event is that AM2's Virtua Fighter division and Virtua Fighter Relationship (VFR) are working together in running this event! The VFTV Live team will be streaming the event. Hopefully this is a sign of better things to come with more collaborations between Sega and VFR in the future! The event will be streamed on June 10th at 11 AM JST at VFTV Live Channel.

[​IMG] SoCal have been staying busy with the launch of the console game. They made a VF-specific podcast, participated in the Wednesday Night Fights, and now will have a VF5FS party to end the week! The gathering will be streamed on the VF Socal Channel with casual matches starting around 2 PM PST and a tournament at 8 PM PST.

[​IMG] The first VFR 3on3 Arcade tournament since the launch of the console version of the game! Four of the first six Tokai Bay Cups were won by Team Family Gyouza for 3 (ファミリー餃å­3人å‰) [Mukku (TA) / Keisuta (SH) / Kanzen Nitaku (WO)]. In the seventh tournament, it appears some Tokyo VFers are in the Tokai VFers stomping grounds. Will they or other Tokai regulars be able to take down Family Gyouza!? The seventh Tokai Bay Area Cup team tournament starts on June 9th, 2012 at 6 PM JST. The event will likely be streamed on Chinobrad's Ustream Channel.

The Bay Area Cups 3on3 tournaments are unique in that teams made at the beginning of the season remains the same at the end of the season. For past tournament summaries and other information, please check the Virtua Fighter Relationship 2011-2012 Season thread. Unlike PS3 gamers, there is currently no special deal for the 360 gamers. The game plus the 2 bundle packs will cost a total of $45 US dollars.

There are 12 items that one can purchase to customize your 360 Avatar. These include VF5FS T-shirt, VF Characters' hair, mask, outfits and animations!
