[IMG] The recent VF5FS console release announcement coincided with a compilation video of arcade VF5FS special victory item win poses made by LadyVF. It is unclear if any of the 6 special win poses per character will be in the console version; however, they are fairly amusing to watch and also shows the variety of customization one can achieve with the 19 characters! Also, check out LadyVF's Blog (Japanese) for even more character customization that mimics characters from other games, movies, or cartoons.

[IMG]Gamespot's Maxwell McGee and Sega's Patrick Riley went over the various features in training mode. This includes the tutorial, record function, frame data, and command/combo training.

Near the end of the video, they also covered the customization mode. This would be the first video in English to show off the customization mode in detail. So go check out the youtube video!

[IMG]Why do people enjoy fighting games? Do you believe the fighting genre is at risk of imploding? Why do fighting games need to evolve?

Those are some of the questions that Gamespot's Editor Maxwell McGee asked various people within the Fighting Game genre to address in his Fighting Game Symposium article series. This includes Patrick Riley, Director of International Product Development, SEGA (Syzygy on VFDC, left) as he answered these questions relative to the Virtua Fighter franchise. Other people that were asked these same questions include Iplaywinner's Haunts, Ultrachen TV's James Chen, and many more!
